As wild as it sounds, there are multiple claims from eyewitnesses of grotesque, monstrous-looking creatures, possibly from other worlds wreaking havoc in this one. Creatures that are so disturbing that encounters with them could even be fatal.

The unsettling encounters we will examine feature creatures whose descriptions are, perhaps bizarrely, akin to the Gremlins from the Hollywood movie of the same name. And not only in their physical descriptions but also in their ominous and potentially deadly mischievous nature.

Indeed, in the very early years of aviation, many pilots, including military pilots, would report encounters with mischievous beings in the aircraft while in flight – beings they would call Gremlins. Some of these apparent encounters eventually resulted in fatal crashes.

Over the years, most would treat such talk as nothing but folklore. Could it be, though, that there is more to creatures who look like real-life Gremlins than we might think, if only in part?

The Hinterkaifeck Farm murders are truly frightful and remain unexplained over 100 years after they occurred. As well as the brutal slaying of six people, there were hints of paranormal activity taking place. The Outback is an absolutely vast area of Australia, spanning 5.6 million km squared. It covers about 70% of the content of Australia, it would take up half of the United States if placed on top. It’s mostly flat, and covered with soil that is highly infertile and it’s filled with kangaroos, dingos (Australian wild dogs).

Despite it’s size, there are barely any people. In fact, less than 5% of the Australian population live in the outback. So despite it being a beautiful, astonishing space…there is an inherent sense of threat in this wilderness. To cross it, is to become far more vulnerable than we probably have been before.
