Are you ready to jam out with the gods? Because Live From Mount Olympus returns with its first-ever musical season! 

When Apollo, shining god of music, releases his hit single, “Dragon Slayer,” Hermes invites him into his Godspod podcast. With the swagger of a divine rock star, Apollo shares his daring triumphs, while Hermes grills Apollo on his challenges in the arena of love and exposes Apollo’s act of terrible cruelty against his twin sister Artemis, for which the shining god of music must seek forgiveness – or risk the destruction of all of Olympus.

Far Shooting Apollo, god of music, tells the story of his first dramatic adventure in his latest song, "Dragon Slayer."

"Dragon Slayer" was composed by Magda Giannikou, lyrics and vocal production by Malena Marcase, performed by Banda Magda, music direction by Magdalini Giannikou and Nehemiah Luckett, mixed and mastered by Tom Beuchel.  Live from Mount Olympus was created by showrunner Julie Burstein, produced by the Onassis Foundation, co-produced by The TEAM, and distributed by PRX.

As they set sail with the tributes for Athens, Ariadne and Theseus dream of their future together. But a rest stop on the island of Naxos reveals how quickly the Fates can alter the future for humans - and for the gods.

The atmosphere is electric in the central square of Knossos as the city gathers to watch the Athenian tributes dance with a very dangerous bull. Bloodthirsty cheers erupt whenever the tributes are threatened by sharp horns and hooves. But not everyone in the audience is rooting for the bull.
