- 22 minutes 20 secondsTrusting God in the Pruning Process | A Final Meditation on John 15
In this Scripture meditation on John 15:1ā5 and 9ā17, youāre invited to slow down and reflect on what it truly means to live a fruitful life.
We often measure fruitfulness by productivityāwhat we accomplish, how much we produce, or how many people we reach. But in this passage, Jesus gently redefines fruitfulness. He invites us not to strive, but to abide. Not to measure, but to remain.
Through the practice of Lectio Divina, this meditation creates space to listen for Godās voice and consider where He may be inviting you to let go, trust Him more deeply, and receive His definition of a fruitful life.
This meditation is especially personal for me. As Iāve spent time with this passage, God has been reshaping my understanding of fruitfulnessāleading me into a season of letting go and choosing to abide in Him above all else.
If youāve ever wondered whether youāre doing enough⦠or if your life is truly bearing fruit⦠this meditation is an invitation to release those questions and return to the simple, steady call of Jesus:
Remain in me.
šæ In this guided Christian meditation, youāll be invited to:
⢠Reflect on how you define a āfruitful lifeā
⢠Release pressure to measure your worth by productivity or outcomes
⢠Listen for where God may be inviting you to trust Him in a new way
⢠Rest in the truth that fruitfulness begins with abiding in JesusTake a deep breath. Let go of striving. And allow Jesus to show you what a life rooted in His love looks like.
This meditation is part of a small set of final episodes as I pause the podcast. Iām deeply grateful to have spent this time with you in Godās Word.

Meditation Passage:
John 15:1ā5 (NLT)
āI am the true grapevine, and my Father is the gardener. He cuts off every branch of mine that doesnāt produce fruit, and he prunes the branches that do bear fruit so they will produce even more. You have already been pruned and purified by the message I have given you. Remain in me, and I will remain in you. For a branch cannot produce fruit if it is severed from the vine, and you cannot be fruitful unless you remain in me.āYes, I am the vine; you are the branches. Those who remain in me, and I in them, will produce much fruit. For apart from me you can do nothing.ā
Ā
John 15:9ā17 (NLT)
āI have loved you even as the Father has loved me. Remain in my love. When you obey my commandments, you remain in my love, just as I obey my Fatherās commandments and remain in his love. I have told you these things so that you will be filled with my joy. Yes, your joy will overflow! This is my commandment: Love each other in the same way I have loved you. There is no greater love than to lay down oneās life for oneās friends. You are my friends if you do what I command. I no longer call you slaves, because a master doesnāt confide in his slaves. Now you are my friends, since I have told you everything the Father told me.
You didnāt choose me. I chose you. I appointed you to go and produce lasting fruit, so that the Father will give you whatever you ask for, using my name. This is my command: Love each other.ā

- 18 minutes 51 secondsWaiting, Trusting, and Letting Go | Psalm 37 Meditation
In this Scripture meditation on Psalm 37:1ā7, youāre invited to slow down and reflect on what it means to trust God when life feels unfair.
When others seem to prosper through wrongdoing⦠when injustice touches your life or the world around you⦠itās easy to feel anxious, frustrated, or even envious. But Psalm 37 gently redirects our heartsāaway from fretting and toward trust, surrender, and patient waiting on God.
Using the practice of Lectio Divina, this meditation creates space to pause, listen, and rest in the truth that God sees, God knows, and God is at workāeven when His timing feels slow.
This passage has been deeply personal for me. In a season when life felt unjust, God repeatedly brought me back to these wordsāinviting me to trust Him, to rest in Him, and to wait for Him to move in His way and in His time.
If youāre walking through something that feels unfair or unresolved, this meditation is an invitation to release what youāre carrying and place it back into Godās hands.
šæ In this guided Christian meditation, youāll be invited to:
⢠Notice where you feel anxious, stirred up, or unsettled by injustice
⢠Release comparison, frustration, or envy
⢠Trust God with what feels unresolved or unfair
⢠Rest in His goodness as you wait for Him to actTake a deep breath. Be still. And rememberāGod has not turned a blind eye. He sees you, He loves you, and He is moving on your behalf.

20 April 2026, 5:00 am - 17 minutes 16 secondsWho do you say I AM? | Matthew 16:13-17
In this final meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we turn to a question Jesus asks His disciples in Matthew 16:13ā17:
āWho do you say that I am?ā
Throughout this series, we have listened to Jesus declare who He is.
He is the Bread of Life.
He is the Light of the World.
He is the Gate.
He is the Good Shepherd.
He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
He is the True Vine.
He is the Resurrection and the Life.
And before Abraham was, He declares, āI AM.āBut in this passage, Jesus turns the question toward His disciplesāand toward us.
āWho do you say that I am?ā
People around Jesus had many answers. Some believed He was a prophet. Others thought He was Elijah or John the Baptist. But Peter answers with clarity:
āYou are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.ā
In this guided Scripture meditation, you are invited to reflect on this same question in your own life. Through several slow readings of Matthew 16:13ā17, you will have space to consider who others say Jesus isāand who you believe Him to be.
As we conclude this Lenten journey, we are reminded that knowing who Jesus truly is changes everything. He is the Messiah, the Son of the living God, the One who reveals the Father and invites us into life with Him.

15 āBut what about you?ā he asked. āWho do you say I am?ā
16 Simon Peter answered, āYou are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.ā
17 Jesus replied, āBlessed are you, Simon son of Jonah, for this was not revealed to you by flesh and blood, but by my Father in heaven.

13 April 2026, 5:00 am - 21 minutes 22 secondsI AM The Resurrection and The Life | John 11:21-27
In this meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we reflect on one of Jesusās most powerful declarations in John 11:21ā27:
āI am the resurrection and the life.ā
Jesus speaks these words to Martha in the middle of grief. Her brother Lazarus has died. The loss is real. The disappointment is honest. She tells Jesus what many of us have felt:
āLord, if only you had been hereā¦ā
Into that place of sorrow and confusion, Jesus does not offer an explanation. He offers Himself.
He does not merely promise resurrection someday.
He declares that He is resurrection.
He is life. This is the heart of the gospel. Death does not have the final word. Sin does not have the final word. Despair does not have the final word.
In this guided Scripture meditation, you are invited to identify where you need Jesus to be resurrection and life in your own story. Through slow readings of John 11:21ā27, youāll be guided to reflect, respond honestly, and renew your hope in His promise.
The story of Lazarus ultimately ends with life walking out of the tomb. But even before the miracle, Jesus gives Martha something just as powerful: a question.
āDo you believe this?ā
Resurrection hope begins with trust.

6 April 2026, 5:00 am - 17 minutes 29 secondsEaster He is Risen | John 20:11-18
In this Easter Sunday meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we slow down with John 20:11ā18 and the first resurrection encounter:
āI have seen the Lord.ā
Today we celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christāthe day death was defeated and hope was restored.
Johnās Gospel brings us into a tender and personal moment. Mary Magdalene stands outside the empty tomb weeping. The stone has been rolled away. The body is gone. The disciples have already left, confused and uncertain.
Mary stays.
She sees angels. She sees Jesus. But at first, she does not recognize Him.
Then He speaks her name:
āMary.ā
And everything changes.
In that single word, grief turns to recognition. Despair gives way to joy. The impossible becomes reality.
In this guided Scripture meditation, you are invited to step into the garden with Mary. Through slow readings of John 20:11ā18, you will be guided to reflect on the meaning of the resurrection, celebrate the hope we have in Christ, and consider how this life-changing truth invites you to move forward.
The resurrection is not only an event to remember. It is a reality to live in.
Because Jesus is risen:
We are restored.
We are made new.
We are invited into abundant life.He is risenāand that changes everything.

John 20:11-18 NLT
11 Mary was standing outside the tomb crying, and as she wept, she stooped and looked in.Ā
12 She saw two white-robed angels, one sitting at the head and the other at the foot of the place where the body of Jesus had been lying.Ā
13 āDear woman, why are you crying?ā the angels asked her.
āBecause they have taken away my Lord,ā she replied, āand I donāt know where they have put him.ā
14 She turned to leave and saw someone standing there. It was Jesus, but she didnāt recognize him.Ā
15 āDear woman, why are you crying?ā Jesus asked her. āWho are you looking for?ā
She thought he was the gardener. āSir,ā she said, āif you have taken him away, tell me where you have put him, and I will go and get him.ā
16 āMary!ā Jesus said.
She turned to him and cried out, āRabboni!ā (which is Hebrew for āTeacherā).
17 āDonāt cling to me,ā Jesus said, āfor I havenāt yet ascended to the Father. But go find my brothers and tell them, āI am ascending to my Father and your Father, to my God and your God.āā

5 April 2026, 5:00 am - 17 minutes 25 secondsHoly Saturday Waiting in the Silence | Psalm 130:1-6
In this Holy Saturday meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we slow down with Psalm 130:
āI wait for the Lord, my whole being waits,
and in His word I put my hope.āHoly Saturdayāsometimes called Silent Saturdayāis the day between the crucifixion and the resurrection. Scripture tells us very little about this day. Jesusās body lay in the tomb. The disciples were scattered. Grief, confusion, and doubt must have filled the air.
It must have felt like hope had been buried.
And yet⦠God was still at work.
Holy Saturday reminds us that there are moments in our own lives that feel unfinished. Prayers unanswered. Healing delayed. Restoration not yet visible. We find ourselves in the in-between spaceāwaiting.
Psalm 130 gives language to that waiting. It begins with a cry from the depths. It acknowledges our need for mercy and forgiveness. And it ends with a declaration of hope:
āI wait for the Lord more than watchmen wait for the morning.ā
In this guided Scripture meditation, you are invited to bring your own silent Saturday before God. Through slow readings of Psalm 130, you will be guided to cry out honestly, remember Godās forgiveness, and renew your hope as you wait.
Holy Saturday teaches us that silence does not mean absence. Waiting does not mean God is inactive.
Resurrection may not yet be visibleābut it is coming.

4 April 2026, 5:00 am - 15 minutes 54 secondsGood Friday | It is Finished | John 19:28-30
In this Good Friday meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we slow down with Jesusās final words in John 19:28ā30:
āIt is finished.ā
Good Friday is the most somber day on the Christian calendar. It is the day we remember that Jesus was crucifiedāthat He endured rejection, humiliation, suffering, and death.
It would be easier to skip ahead to Easter. We know how the story ends. But there is no resurrection without the cross.
John tells us that Jesus knew His mission was now finished. After enduring the full weight of the crucifixion, He declared, āIt is finished,ā bowed His head, and gave up His spirit.
These are not words of defeat.
They are words of completion.
Of fulfillment.
Of love carried all the way through. The cross exposes the cost of sinābut it also reveals the depth of Godās mercy. In this guided Scripture meditation, you are invited to sit at the cross, to reflect on Jesusās final words, and to allow gratitude to rise in your heart.
Through several slow readings of John 19:28ā30, you will be guided to listen, reflect, respond, and restāholding both the weight of this day and the hope that we know is coming.
Good Friday reminds us that salvation was not accidental. It was accomplished.

3 April 2026, 5:00 am - 19 minutes 21 secondsMaundy Thursday I AM He | John 18:1-8
In this Maundy Thursday meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we slow down with Jesusās words in John 18:1ā8:
āI AM He.ā
This moment takes place in the garden, just hours before the cross. The Passover meal has been shared. Jesus has washed His disciplesā feet. He has given them a new commandāto love one another as He has loved them. After singing a hymn, they make their way to the Mount of Olives.
And then the soldiers arrive.
Torches.
Lanterns.
Weapons.John tells us that Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to Him, stepped forward and asked, āWho is it you want?ā
When they answered, āJesus of Nazareth,ā He replied, āI AM He.ā
At His words, they drew back and fell to the ground.
This is not a frightened man being seized in the dark. This is Jesus, fully aware, fully surrendered, and fully in control. He does not hide. He does not run. He steps forward.
In this guided Scripture meditation, you are invited to enter the garden through prayerful imagination. Through several slow readings of John 18:1ā8, you will be guided to notice the scene, reflect on Jesusās willing surrender, and rest in the truth that His sacrificial love was intentional.
Maundy Thursday reminds us that love is not passive. It steps forward. It surrenders. It trusts the Father, even in the dark.
As we prepare our hearts for Good Friday, we pause hereāat the edge of the crossāremembering that Jesus went willingly.

Todayās Scripture
John 18:1ā8 (NIV)
1 When he had finished praying, Jesus left with his disciples and crossed the Kidron Valley. On the other side there was a garden, and he and his disciples went into it.
2 Now Judas, who betrayed him, knew the place, because Jesus had often met there with his disciples. 3 So Judas came to the garden, guiding a detachment of soldiers and some officials from the chief priests and the Pharisees. They were carrying torches, lanterns and weapons.
4 Jesus, knowing all that was going to happen to him, went out and asked them, āWho is it you want?ā
5 āJesus of Nazareth,ā they replied.
āI am he,ā Jesus said. (And Judas the traitor was standing there with them.) 6 When Jesus said, āI am he,ā they drew back and fell to the ground.
7 Again he asked them, āWho is it you want?ā
āJesus of Nazareth,ā they said.
8 Jesus answered, āI told you that I am he. If you are looking for me, then let these men go.ā

2 April 2026, 5:00 am - 7 minutes 7 secondsBefore Abraham Was, I AM | Midweek Prayer (John 8:56-59)
In this Holy Week prayer, we pause to reflect on one of Jesusās clearest and most powerful declarations about who He is.
In John 8:56ā59, Jesus says, āBefore Abraham was even born, I AM.ā With these words, He reveals what has been true from the beginningāthat He is God. Eternal. Uncreated. The One who existed before time and entered into it for us.
This short midweek prayer invites you to slow down and worship Jesus as the great I AM. We take time to praise Him for His divinity and to reflect on what it means that the One who will go to the cross is not merely a teacher or prophet, but God Himself.
We also pray for those we love who do not yet recognize Him as Lord, asking that their hearts would be opened to see Him clearly.
As we move closer to the cross and prepare for Easter, may this truth steady your heart: Jesus is God, and He is worthy of our worship.
Take a few quiet minutes to pray along and reflect on who He is.

1 April 2026, 5:00 am - 18 minutesBefore Abraham Was, I AM | John 8:56-59
As we enter Holy Week, we pause with one of the most direct and striking declarations Jesus ever made.
In this seventh meditation of our Lenten series, I AM: A Lenten Journey with Jesus, we reflect on Jesusās words in John 8:56ā59:
āBefore Abraham was, I AM.āThroughout this series, we have considered the familiar āI amā statementsāimages and metaphors that reveal Jesus as bread, light, shepherd, gate, and vine. But this moment is different. Here, Jesus is not offering a picture. He is making a claim.
Speaking to religious leaders who questioned His authority, Jesus identifies Himself with the very name of God revealed in Exodus. The people listening understood exactly what He was saying. They believed He had committed blasphemy, and they responded by picking up stones.
This is a turning point. Jesus does not leave room to be understood merely as a good teacher or wise prophet. He clearly declares His divinity.
This guided Scripture meditation invites you to sit with this scene and reflect on what it means that Jesus is fully God and fully man. Through several slow readings of John 8:56ā59, you will be guided to listen, imagine the moment, respond honestly, and rest in the truth of who He is.
As Holy Week begins, we are reminded that it is because of who Jesus is that the cross matters. It is because of who He is that the resurrection brings salvation and hope.
Lent prepares us to celebrate Easter with clarity and conviction. Jesus is not simply part of the story.
He is the I AM.

30 March 2026, 5:00 am - 7 minutes 7 secondsI Am the True Vine | Midweek Prayer (John 15:1ā2, 4ā5)
Fruitfulness doesnāt begin with striving. It begins with remaining.
In this short midweek prayer, we return to Jesusās words in John 15, where He says, āI am the true vine⦠you are the branches.ā This guided Christian prayer invites you to slow down, breathe deeply, and reflect on what it means to abide in Christ.
Jesus reminds us that apart from Him, we can do nothing. We are not responsible for manufacturing spiritual fruit on our own. Our role is to remaināconnected to the Vine, trusting the Father as the Gardener, and allowing Him to prune what no longer serves His purposes in our lives.
Pruning can feel uncomfortable. But it is never careless. It is always loving and purposeful, leading toward deeper growth and greater fruitfulness.
Take a few quiet minutes today to rest in this truth: your responsibility is to remain. The fruit is His work.

Todayās Scripture
John 15:1ā2, 4ā5 (NIV)1 āI am the true vine, and my Father is the gardener.
2 He cuts off every branch in me that bears no fruit, while every branch that does bear fruit he prunes so that it will be even more fruitful.
4 Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.
5 āI am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.āIf you are helped by these meditations, consider sharing them with a friend or leaving a review. Simple acts like these help create space for more people to slow down and listen.
