The Field of 68 Media Network has partnered with Deon Thomas, the leading scorer in the history of the Illinois program, to launch Champaign On Ice, a podcast on your favorite team, the Fighting Illini. Thomas played four seasons at Illinois and finished his career with 2,129 points, making him the lone Illini player to surpass the 2,000-point mark. He was selected in the first round of the 1994 NBA Draft by the Dallas Mavericks, and is now a studio analyst for the Big Ten Network, part of the Illini radio network and an associate AD at the university.
