The POD Cast is all about the print on demand industry! It exists to equip you with the tools you need to succeed when launching or managing a POD business! Regardless of where you are in your Print on Demand journey, the POD Cast has something for you!
Welcome back to the PODCast!
In this week's show, I share some things about the show that I've been considering for awhile. If you're a long time listener, you know I'm a straight shooter when it comes to this stuff, so buckle in.
In all honestly, I've been thinking about the PODCast all wrong. I've been thinking of it as a product as opposed to a marketing instrument that could amplify interest in a print on demand coaching business (which doesn't really exist - at least not in the way I want it to.) Because of the weekly schedule of creating this show, it's been difficult to navigate it all - the challenges of content creation as well as the need to bolster my own POD business' growth.
In the end, the Main Event of this episode delves into me redefining my priorities, as well as the strategic decision to scale back on podcast production (and all that comes with it) to focus on building a sustainable business model with a product that I'm proud of.
Finally, I'd love for you to TAKE THIS SURVEY and let me know what would be important for you in a paid print on demand product (if I even end up creating one is still TBD.) It'll only take 2-3 minutes and will really help.
Enjoy the show!

Welcome back to the Print On Demand Cast!
in this week's episode, I take a deep dive into the pros and cons of in-house versus outsourced production. From quality control to scalability, each method presents its own set of challenges and opportunities. Whether it's analyzing the cost structure of a large coffee mug order or the logistics of efficient shipping, I provide insights into optimizing operations and maximizing profits. With practical examples and real-world scenarios, I hope to arm you with the knowledge to make strategic decisions for your print-on-demand business.
At the end of the episode, I share a link to a google sheet I created that can help you figure out your profit margins for in-house and outsourced production. You can grab that for yourself at https://printondemandcast.com/production-comparison-sheet.
Plus, in this week's Point Of Interest, I share two updates from Printful that I thought we're pretty cool. The first is a new product - custom jacquard knitting, a technique that transforms yarn into intricate patterns within the fabric itself. This innovation could elevate your print-on-demand offerings to new heights, or at least new profits! Secondly, I share a limited time discount Printful is offering to their Printful Growth subscribers from Nov 1 - Dec 15. I spend a lot of time talking about the embroidered trucker hat you can get shipped to your customer for under $15, but there are a few other popular products on the list.
One last thing, if you want the full experience of this episode, you really should consider watching it on YouTube since I share my screen a lot.

On this week's show, I'll share how consistency can be your secret weapon in conquering the chaos of running a print-on-demand business. Unleash the full potential of regular uploads on platforms like Etsy and Redbubble, and watch your visibility soar. By sticking to a routine, you'll not only enhance your shop's presence within algorithms but also open doors to discover potential bestsellers.
Consistency isn't just about talent—it's about building momentum and refining your skills over time. Just like athletes rely on practice, creators thrive on regular uploads to keep their stores vibrant and trustworthy. Let's jump into how keeping an active store can breathe new life into older products and help you capitalize on emerging trends.
Elevate your workflow with strategic consistency and the power of virtual assistants. By recording your processes, you can efficiently train your team and focus on scaling up your business. In the end, consistent uploads are your golden ticket to collecting valuable data, nurturing creativity, and expanding your product range.
In order to maintain a steady upload schedule, particularly as the busy season approaches, I propose a simple challenge - aim for five uploads a day. In fact, I created a free tool for you to track your progress.
