Hot Royals Lose TV Viewers, Jax Co Hail Mary for Chiefs, NASCAR Week Story Contradicts, UNC Frat Boys Saving America, Lawrence Joins Party, Noem Defends Stupid Book

Just when it looks like the Royals are fading, they amaze you.  And yes, their 19 wins already is nothing short of glorious.  They are a ridiculous 19-6 when they score more than one run!  But many fans can't see the games on tv right now as Comcast/Bally Sports are fighting over money.  We have your solution.

A lawmaker in Jackson County now wants a sales tax vote on the ballot in November... for the Chiefs only.  He maybe should have thought of that a year ago instead of trotting out the same old stuff.  Besides, this Hail Mary appears to be illegal as you can't  put another vote on the ballot until a year after the previous vote.

A NASCAR story is the top sports story on the Star's website and it's about race.  Not racing.  There's a diversity program in NASCAR that led to Kyle Larson becoming a star.  But everyone thinks he's white, how is he some shining star of a diversity program?  Even further... wasn't he the dude suspended for using a racial slur?

Frat boys at UNC give us great hope for America's future as they stand guard over Old Glory and won't let "unwashed marxists" and "commies" tear the flag down.  This is an great story.

The whacko's at KU finally woke up from their hazy, pot fueled naps the past couple weeks to see it's time for them to join the party and have a protest.  What clowns.  If you're going to be a real committed liberal, you can't follow.  You need to lead!

And Kristi Noem tries to defend the stupidity of including a story in her book where she's proud she shot her 14 month old dog with a shotgun.  She's done.

No Stadium Vote in KS House, Mayor Q Passes the Buck, Chiefs Design Incredible, R's Take Back Seat, Protest Smackdowns, 100,000 Americans Secede

The Kansas House failed to even vote on a STAR bond proposal to fully finance the Chiefs and Royals before their session ended April 30 and there's a pretty understandable reason.  The veto happy Dem governor keeps getting in the way of tax cuts as the state operates at a massive surplus and until cuts are passed, lawmakers don't want to vote on sports teams.  It makes sense.  It's also nearly certain now a special session will be called by the governor as she's the only thing standing in the way of greatness.

Meanwhile, your liberal KCMO mayor Quentin Lucas is calling on Republicans in Jeff City to bail him out and keep the Royals and Chiefs in KC.  Good luck, Q.  He made a pair of idiotic statements on X and he should be thrilled now if the state steps up just to keep the Royals.

The potential designer of a new Arrowhead West Stadium released images and a video and it's by far the most impressive thing we've seen for either team in three years.  The Chiefs have clearly been working on moving to Kansas for awhile and appear ready to move from I-70 and 435 in Missouri to I-70 and 435 in Kansas.

As hundreds of arrests are being made on college campuses of lunatics camping and rioting for Hamas, we're confirming what we already knew.  Most of these thugs are not students at all.

And 100,000 people living in a liberal city secede from the city and form their own government and will be led by conservatives.  Every big city in America should be looking at this.

Kansas Plans 100% Financing for Chiefs/Royals, Kansas Speedway Prez Pat Warren Convo

After 3 years of chaos between the Royals, Jackson County and KCMO, the state of Kansas is about to vote on new language in their STAR Bond laws that would finance 100% of a new stadium for the Chiefs and/or the Royals.  100 percent.  The catch?  Well... Kansas wants the project to cost at least $1 billion each  and have at least 30,000 seats.  This is swift and effective and there will be a deadline for the teams to take the money and run from Missouri.

So what a great time to have Kansas Speedway president Pat Warren on the podcast to talk about this week's Advent Health 400 in KCK and the possibility of new neighbors moving in.  One important note, the interview with Mr. Warren was recorded prior to the Kansas legislature announcing Monday night it's prepared to make this offer to these teams.  Kansas Speedway was partially financed by STAR bonds nearly 25 years ago.

Hunt Wants New Stadium, Chiefs Draft A+, Vermes Shows Up Refs, Rory Won't Stop Believin', Seinfeld and Jost Slam Left, Trump Meets w/DeSantis

Just as we first said when we saw the Chiefs release some stick figure renderings of a "reimagined" Arrowhead, the owner wants a shiny new stadium.  This weekend, as the team was putting together another stellar draft class,  Clark Hunt now says he has a "sense of urgency" as he parts ways with the Royals as a partner and is looking for a brand new stadium for his team.  Smart man.  May the best state win.

Sporting Manager Peter Vermes is just a flat out stud.  He believes in accountability, self reliance, excellence and never makes excuses.  No, Vermes isn't making an excuse if he pulls up an I-Pad in his post game news conference and shows you a picture of an offside infraction and blasts the refs.  He's just proving the truth.

Rory McIlroy and his golf partner Shane Lowry win the two man team event on the PGA Tour and then party like rock stars with all the fans, a live band and a Journey karaoke for the ages in New Orleans.

Comedians Jerry Seinfeld and Colin Jost just hammer the whacky left in separate appearances over the weekend.   Ron DeSantis and Donald Trump meet to 'bury the hatchet' and a haunting story from the Titanic ship wreck leads to a record auction item price.

AFC Rolls Over for Chiefs, Worthy Pick is Perfect, R's Win 3rd Straight, Staff to Hide Biden, Schiff Carjacked,

The Chiefs got their perfect fit at wide receiver with the fastest player in the draft, Xavier Worthy out of Texas.  How in the world did this happen?  Well, the Buffalo Bills are idiots and should never have answered the phone when the Chiefs called about a trade.  It used to be teams on your division would never do business with you but let's ask the very real question:  Why would ANY team in the AFC trade with the Chiefs?  At the same time, the AFC was loading up on guards and tackles and passing on skill position players.  It's hard to believe it's this easy for Kansas City.

The Royals win their third straight taking a 2-1 lead into a long rain delay Thursday.  Eventually the game was called and the Royals just started a winning streak with a very weak offensive showing.  We'll take it.

There's a change to the way Joe Biden will be shown in public, you have to hear this. Adam Schiff is carjacked on a visit to San Francisco and a former Royals has a blazing hot podcast.

Texas Stops Hamas Rioters, Biden Can't Read, Trading Up for QB Usually Fails, Irish Farmageddon, Royals Ride Pitching

The University of Texas is a liberal school in a liberal city but even they know how to deal with Hamas protesters and rioters.  The school president had over 30 people arrested on campus and released a strong statement saying this campus "will not be occupied."  Well played.

Joe Biden is somehow still our president even though the man literally can't read.  Wait until you hear about his latest gaffe trying to read a speech.

An excellent story in the KC Star explains just how improbable it is to trade up like the Chiefs did when they landed Patrick Mahomes.  It almost always fails.

KSU and ISU will be America's first football game of the 2025 season and they will play it in Dublin, Ireland.  The Royals win for the second night in a row with excellent pitching, NBA playoff ratings are down again and a Cubs pitcher has his patriotic glove taken away from him by an umpire.

Chiefs Prove OL is Bad Draft Strategy, Bobby Baseball Delivers, MU Gets Good AD, How to Stop Hamas Rioters, Mayor Q Heckled, Non-Competes Illegal

I've long argued spending a ton of draft capital on offensive linemen is a loser's strategy and now we have the data to prove it.  Wait until you hear the teams that emphasize OL in the draft versus teams that don't.  Spoiler alert, the Chiefs are nearly dead last in using draft capital on the line and have three trophies to show for it.

Bobby Witt Jr got a chance to be a hero after a Blue Jays error Tuesday night and he makes them pay.  The Royals snap a 3 game skid and our dear friends at www.pawsitivetailskc.org had a sellout for Bark at the Park.

Laird Veatch is the new AD at Mizzou and he's a great choice.  I've known Laird a long time and he's more than familiar with Mizzou as he worked in the department for several years.

There's a perfect solution for how to stop the violence by Hamas activists, some shocking new stats on unmarried women swinging politics in America and Mayor Q gets heckled for inviting illegal aliens to KC.

Also, the Federal Trade Commission is making non-compete agreements illegal and MLB commish Rob Manfred gets strong advice from a fan at a game.

Andy Cashes In, Mayor Q Flip/Flop, NY on Fire, Stan Weber NFL Draft Convo

The  NFL Draft begins Thursday night in Detroit and Andy Reid and Brett Veach will be making their picks with fat new contracts in tow.  Andy becomes the highest paid coach in NFL history and he's earned it.  Stan Weber will join us to talk about Mizzou, KSU and KU players in the draft and where the Chiefs may be going.

Mayor Q is trying to back off his comments asking for the overcrowded illegal alien centers in other cities to send those people here.  Oh, his Dem power brokers aren't going to like this.

Hamas terrorist group supporters in NY are arrested by the dozens as, shockingly, they turn violent in their hatred of Jews.

O's Slow Royals, KU AD Challenges Journo, Coach in the Cockpit, $61B More for War, Mayor Q Targeted, Listener E-mails

The Orioles really brought the Royals down to earth Saturday and Sunday and we're left hoping this is just a little bump in the road.

KU Athletics Director Travis Goff challenges Tim Fitzgerald of www.gopowercat.com to come to Lawrence for an interview about the football stadium renovation after Fitzgerald pointed out some uncomfortable things about the financing of the project.

A major league team and United Airlines are investing why and how a coach wound up in captains seat in the cockpit during a charter flight.

Democrats wave Ukrainian flags on the House floor Saturday as we are spending $61 billion more to support war.

Mayor Q is taking it from all sides after saying he wants KC to be a haven for illegal aliens.  And your emails after Friday's podcast were fantastic, I'll share some of the best.

Podcast Popup Ad, Cashill Says Bye to George Floyd, Feds Change Athlete Suspensions, George Brett Nails It, Chiefs Draft Needs, Former Royals Meltdown

The popup ad that started playing in front of this podcast Wednesday was a surprise to me, too.  I'll explain fully what's going on and I'm asking for your input.

Conservative writer Jack Cashill at www.wnd.com has authored a column asking if the George Floyd era is over after he snapped a picture of a giant mural of Floyd on a building near his office being painted over.  You have to hear this.

It's too late for many suspended athletes from this past year but the federal government has implemented a new rule for college athletes pertaining to Title IX that will keep the fellas playing.

George Brett went on MLB Radio and proclaimed what I've been saying for years: It's time for the Royals and Chiefs to split up.

We'll talk some needs for the Chiefs in next week's draft, the NCAA wants more free agency for athletes and a former Royal gets suspended for something he said.  This could get interesting.

Bill Barr Does What W Needs to Do, Star Tries to Slam Hawley, Augusta National Robbed of Millions, Nike's Caitlin Fiasco, R's Bats Sour, Jontay Booted Forever

Former Attorney General  William Barr is no fan of Donald Trump but says he'll vote for him in November.  Barr made the comments as he was speaking truth about the dangers of the Biden administration and weaponizing our justice system.  You gotta hear this.

The Kansas City Star writes a headline that makes it look like Josh Hawley stole campaign funds to buy himself a car and then explains in the story it was a business move that any Missouri voter would see as brilliant and savvy..... and legal.

How can it possibly be that millions of dollars worth of merchandise and memorabilia was stolen from Augusta National Golf Club over a 13 year period?  Even worse, it was somebody that worked there that has finally been arrested.  This sounds like a great Netflix movie or documentary.

Caitlin Clark jerseys are already sold out and not available at major sites until August or October and retailers are blaming Nike.  But, what if Nike is up to something for themselves?

The Royals get a double header split against the White Sox but its becoming alarming to see how weak their bats are on the road.

And former Mizzou player Jontay Porter has been booted from the NBA for life.  I've got the details on his gambling scandal.  Then, our Final Final is a famous football coach that has never had coffee.
