   The winner in all this, of course, is Clark Hunt.  His team is really, really good at football.  But his business is next level American Capitalism elite.

   Mizzou hoops may be in big trouble this year after a disaster against Illinois.  Bill Self says Darryn Peterson's family is now involved in deciding whether he will play or not.  Oh, boy.

   The Royals seem to be infuriating everyone except the people that make the decision on whether they can build a ballpark at 119th and Nall.  The City of Lenexa is trying to pull another crazy liberal scam on its good citizens after failing with a homeless shelter.  Wait until you hear this joke.

   There's a ton of reporting on Travis Kelce's future and we'll explain why you shouldn't be listening to any of it just yet.  Darryn Peterson sits for the 8th time in 12 games as KU gets an easy win.   Kansas State is losing its only good wide receiver to the transfer portal and our Final Final is not great news for KC.

   It seemed too good to be true Monday night when everyone was jumping for joy Patrick Mahomes got after it and immediately had surgery to repair a torn ACL.  The Chiefs told us there was nothing more and Andy Reid said it would be a quick recovery.  Wrong.

   The Chiefs season is over for all intents and purposes and it's time to get real.  You have an aging quarterback that has slowed down and now has an ACL surgery.  High priced older players that don't play to the level expected and a team that is poorly coached.  Ya, that's pretty much everyone.  The only thing to say is there is no continuing with the same plan to keep the band together.  If the Chiefs want to chase more Super Bowls with Patrick Mahomes they need a completely different blueprint for Part II.

   A pastor at Journey church in Lee's Summit jokes about these sloppy Chiefs in his sermon to inspire the congregation.

   The Royals trade for a left fielder, KU's Darren Peterson gets hurt again.  Trump's coin toss at Army-Navy was an incredible scene.  Taylor Swift hands out massive cash bonuses to her crew.

   Then, a new documentary by KMBC Channel 9 took 19 months for Donna Pittman and her team to produce.  It features Kansas City area women that served in Vietnam and it airs Tuesday night at 7:00.  It sounds incredible.

   Its a Fun Friday for sure but we start today with three bad guys that we seem to just accept as bad guys and they are sort of mocking us all.  What's going on?

   A pair of tv peeps are playing the race card in the strangest of ways and it truly feels like desperation for a ploy that's on life support.
