In this episode of the Turning 30 Podcast, Iām joined by Beth from Quiet the Clock for a deep, honest conversation about the pressures of life timelines in your thirties.
We dive into the emotional layers of dating in your thirties, egg freezing, navigating biological clocks, and the internal and external pressures that so many women face. Beth shares her personal journey, from navigating breakups and freezing her eggs at 37 to becoming a mom at 40. We also talk about how to navigate conversations about timelines in dating, dismantling societal narratives around fertility and success and our experience freezing our eggs in our thirties.
If youāve ever felt the weight of ārunning out of timeā or questioned whether youāre falling behind, this conversation is for you.

Before I reached my thirties I had a (very untrue) perception that life in my thirties would get easier, I would be more of an āadultā and life would seamlessly flow along. I was in for a shock when I realized quite quickly that adulting isnāt really a feeling (not one that was going to come in my thirties) and that this decade was full of huge changes, decisions and challenges.
In this vulnerable and honest solo episode I am reflecting on each year of my thirties and I have picked one big challenge I went through and the subsequent lesson I learned and took with me on my thirties journey. The stories I am sharing range from discussing career uncertainties, relationship struggles, feelings of being left behind, and welcoming in new chapters and identity shifts.
