Herb Shirmer Alien Abduction | Paranormal Podcast
In this episode, we explore one of the most detailed and credible alien abduction cases from the 1960s—the extraordinary encounter of Herb Schirmer, a 22-year-old police officer in Ashland, Nebraska.
On December 3, 1967, during a routine midnight patrol after wrangling an escaped bull back into its pen, Schirmer spotted flashing red lights at the junction of Highway 6 and 63.
What he initially thought was a broken-down truck revealed itself to be something far more extraordinary: a metallic, disc-shaped craft hovering just feet above the road.
Within moments of shining his high beams on the object, Schirmer's world changed forever, leading to a documented 20-25 minute time gap that he couldn't account for—and physical evidence in the form of a mysterious red welt on his neck that appeared exactly where he would later recall being touched by an alien device.
Through hypnotic regression sessions with Dr. R. Leo Sprinkle years later, Schirmer recovered detailed memories of what happened during those missing minutes, including being taken aboard the craft by gray-suited beings with cat-like eyes and communication antennas.
The entities revealed shocking information about their surveillance activities on Earth, their breeding analysis program, and their mission to prevent humanity from destroying the planet—even demonstrating how they extract electrical power from transmission lines.

Happy Throwback Thursday and welcome to another installment of the Throwback Files, where we go back and revisit old episodes.
This month, we are revisiting the popular Flatwoods Monster.
About the Flatwoods Monster
On September 12, 1952, two brothers and their friend witnessed a bright object cross the sky and land on a local farm in Flatwoods, West Virginia, prompting them to investigate the site with family members and neighbors.
The group encountered a tall, man-like figure described as approximately 10 feet tall with a round, blood-red face, a pointed hood-like shape, glowing eye-like features emitting greenish-orange light, and small claw-like hands. When the creature made a hissing sound and moved toward them, the terrified witnesses fled the scene, later reporting a pungent mist that caused nausea in some members of the group.
While local law enforcement found no evidence during their investigation, claims of skid marks and an unusual gummy deposit at the site the following day fueled speculation about a UFO landing among enthusiast groups. The incident generated massive national media attention, with the story ranking as the 11th biggest news story of 1952 and drawing investigators from across the country, including prominent UFO researchers Gray Barker and Ivan T. Sanderson.

In this month's Terrified Together, we welcome content creator Wheezy to discuss her journey from bored TikTok skeptic to successful multi-platform creator known for her screaming car videos, Pringles can bits, and authentic personality.
We dove into two deeply unsettling listener-submitted stories that both dealt with entities appearing at life's thresholds.
The first came from Anna, a healthcare worker in Alabama who witnessed an otherworldly presence while working at a long-term care facility—an inky, shapeless entity with a glowing white center that appeared to be watching over an elderly patient entering the dying process.
The second story, submitted by Clara from Alberta, Canada, detailed her late mother's lifelong encounters with what she called her "angel"—a being that transformed from a bright, triangular shape in childhood to a terrifying green-skinned figure with sunken eyes and a gaping jaw by adulthood.
This entity appeared before every major move in her mother's life, ultimately manifesting constantly in her final home before she passed away at just 44 years old, raising haunting questions about whether this presence was a guardian, a harbinger, or something far more sinister.
Wheezy shared her own paranormal experiences, including an eerie encounter with her clairvoyant friend who somehow knew the name "Henry"—the exact name Wheezy had secretly given to a mysterious entity that had been turning on TVs and flickering lights in her previous home.
Beyond the paranormal, we explored Wheezy's upcoming short horror film project "The Boogeyman," her first acting opportunity, and how she's built genuine friendships within the content creation world despite the industry's often transactional nature.

Malaysia Airlines Flight 370 Disappearance | Paranormal Podcast
In this episode, we dive deep into one of aviation's most perplexing mysteries: the disappearance of Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370.
On March 8, 2014, the Boeing 777 vanished from radar just 40 minutes after takeoff with 239 people on board, scheduled to fly from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
We walk through the timeline of that fateful night—from the captain's routine "good night" at 1:00 AM to the plane disappearing completely at 1:20 AM—and explore the frantic scramble that followed as Malaysian officials, search teams, and grieving families desperately sought answers.
What makes this case so compelling is the mountain of conflicting evidence: military radar detected an unidentified object crossing Malaysian airspace in a bizarre zigzag pattern, satellite systems pinged the aircraft for six hours after it vanished, and family members reported that calls to passengers' phones rang instead of going straight to voicemail.
We examine multiple theories that have emerged over the past decade, each with its own compelling evidence and glaring holes. From the discovery of a suspicious flight simulator in the pilot's home that matched the plane's alleged route, to debris found on beaches thousands of miles away, to claims of Russian hijackers and American military involvement—nothing adds up cleanly.
We discuss the work of independent investigators, including a group of engineers who theorized how someone could deliberately make a jetliner disappear, and "Cindy" from the Tomnodders who claims to have found wreckage in the South China Sea that was largely ignored.

Bizarre News - November 2025 | Paranormal Podcast
In this month's Bizarre News, we bring you a collection of cutting-edge scientific discoveries and paranormal mysteries that blur the line between science fiction and reality.
We kick things off with the interstellar comet 3I/Atlas, which has sparked intense debate in the scientific community after Harvard physicist Dr. Avi Loeb identified twelve significant anomalies suggesting it might not be a comet at all—but potentially a nuclear-powered alien spacecraft.
With NASA pointing fifteen different space missions at this object, including the James Webb Space Telescope, we explore the strange characteristics that have scientists puzzled: unexplained frontal glow instead of a traditional tail, industrial alloy-like composition, and a retrograde trajectory with only a 0.2% probability of occurring naturally.
We also dive into groundbreaking warp drive research that suggests faster-than-light travel may actually be theoretically possible, and surprising findings that humans possess "remote touch" abilities previously thought to exist only in animals like sandpipers, allowing us to sense buried objects without direct contact.
On the paranormal side, we investigate which state claims the title of most haunted in America—and the answer might surprise you. Using data compiled from over 1.8 million ghost encounter records across social media platforms, books, and paranormal databases, researchers determined that New York takes the crown with its perfect storm of old stone buildings, high population density, and centuries of accumulated energy.
We also share a compelling Bigfoot sighting from Pennsylvania's I-80, where a witness observed a tall, dark figure with a slender build gliding effortlessly across four lanes of highway and over a guardrail in a matter of seconds, leaving them with an unforgettable encounter story they'll be sharing for years to come.

In this special Terrified Together collaboration with our friends Dave and Sarge from Cryptid Cocktail Party, we share two intense listener-submitted encounters that blur the line between tragedy and the paranormal.
Our first story involves Levi's harrowing story from Wales, where a routine Costco trip turned into a real-life Final Destination moment when scaffolding from an unsecured truck pierced through their windshield on Junction 28.
The pole sliced between Levi and their sister, leaving Levi with a gashed arm but somehow sparing both their lives in what felt like an impossible near-miss.
Then, we jump into Jeanette's unsettling experience from Connecticut in 2016, when she stayed late after soccer practice and made the mistake of walking back to the practice field alone in the dark to retrieve her forgotten phone and purse.
What started as an eerie feeling of being watched escalated when a young boy came running toward her in the empty parking lot, eventually asking "can I come with you?" in a way that left Jeanette deeply uncomfortable.
Though she mumbled agreement while considering the "good karma" for an upcoming game, the unremarkable boy vanished the instant she turned toward her car—and that's when things got worse at home.

The Woman in White | Paranormal Podcast
In this listener-submitted episode, we share three unsettling paranormal encounters sent in by our audience that range from dimensional displacement to possessed dolls.
We start with Sophia's story from West Virginia in 2008, when she was just 10 years old and chased her normally calm dog, Chance, across the street—only to find herself completely transported to an unfamiliar place with nothing but grass in every direction and a single brick house she'd never seen before.
Despite knowing her neighborhood like the back of her hand, Sophia suddenly couldn't recognize anything around her, and when her dog mysteriously reappeared and led her in a different direction, she eventually found herself returned to her frantic family who had been searching the entire neighborhood for her.
Our second story comes from Charis and her grandmother in North Carolina, who dealt with a baby doll that continued crying and laughing despite having no batteries—until Charis hit it in frustration and muttered "stupid doll," causing every light and the TV to shut off instantaneously while the air grew thick and heavy.
The final encounter involves Marissa from Texas whose family's 2013 Halloween party decorations included what her father called a "fake" Ouija board in their exorcist-themed guest room, which seemed to summon a faceless Woman in White with long black hair who appeared in dreams, touched guests with freezing hands, and eventually threatened Marissa's father with a baking tray while radiating joy at their fear.

Throwback Files: Mothman | Paranormal Podcast
Welcome to the Throwback Files on The Mothman!
This new series will allow us to explore older episodes that some of you newer listeners may not have had a chance to hear. We will include thoughts on why we chose each particular episode, along with new comments at the end of the episode.
We hope you enjoy this new monthly throwback Thursday special.
The Mothman:
Mothman is a legendary humanoid creature reportedly seen in Point Pleasant, West Virginia, between November 1966 and December 1967, described by witnesses as a seven-foot-tall figure with glowing red eyes and large wings that pursued vehicles while making screeching sounds.
The phenomenon began when two couples reported encountering the creature near a former WWII munitions plant, sparking widespread media coverage and numerous additional sightings throughout the region.
Following the December 15, 1967, collapse of the Silver Bridge and the death of 46 people,[16] the incident gave rise to the legend and connected the Mothman sightings to the bridge collapse.
Wildlife experts believe the Mothman legend likely originated from misidentified sandhill cranes or herons that had wandered outside their normal migration routes, as these birds match the physical descriptions and possess naturally reddish coloring around their eyes.

Veteran Horror Stories | Paranormal Podcast
In this special Veterans Day episode, we honor those who serve by sharing six chilling paranormal encounters experienced by military personnel during their time in service.
We explore stories from soldiers stationed across the globe, from basic training at Fort Jackson to deployments in Korea, Iraq, and Afghanistan.
The episode opens with a Fort Jackson trainee who witnessed a mysterious floating orb of light that behaved impossibly—appearing as a bouncing flashlight before suddenly veering off the trail, rising into the air, and vanishing just feet away from three startled soldiers.
We then hear from a Marine patrolling a veterans cemetery alone at night who discovered an old weathered headstone with a glowing neon-blue cross and multi-voice humming that seemed to come from hundreds of sources at once, creating such an intense electric field that his hair stood on end.
The encounters take darker turns as we share the story of a Marine sniper who describes his first kill in Fallujah and the terrifying sleep paralysis experience that followed, where he felt an entity crawl onto his chest and pin him down in the middle of the night. We also explore a British soldier's encounter with a mysterious voice warning "don't come in" from inside a chained building that turned out to be booby-trapped with mines and filled with bones from a Russian massacre.
Additional stories include soldiers hearing phantom children's laughter in the Afghan desert where no children existed for miles, cadence calls echoing through empty training grounds at 2am, and an entire haunted government building in Iraq where Saddam Hussein allegedly executed dissidents.

The Montauk Project | Paranormal Podcast
In this episode, we dive deep into one of the most controversial conspiracy theories in paranormal history—the Montauk Project.
We start by exploring the very real Camp Hero military base located on the easternmost tip of Long Island in Montauk, New York, which operated from World War II through the Cold War era. Originally disguised as a quaint fishing village to fool German U-boats, the base later housed a massive 90-foot radar tower that remains standing today as the only survivor of twelve similar installations.
After the base was officially abandoned in 1981 and later transferred to the National Park Service, strange stories began to emerge.
We introduce Preston Nichols, an electrical engineer who claims to have discovered his own repressed memories of working on secret experiments at the facility, and Duncan Cameron, a gifted psychic who mysteriously knew intimate details about the base despite claiming he'd never been there before.
We then explore the disturbing allegations at the heart of the Montauk Project conspiracy, which include mind control experiments, time travel research, and the abuse of thousands of children in underground tunnels beneath the base.
According to Nichols and Cameron's recovered memories, the project involved a device called the "Montauk Chair" that could amplify psychic abilities to manifest physical objects, open portals through time and space, and even conjure creatures from thin air.
We discuss the project's alleged connections to the Philadelphia Experiment, MK-Ultra's documented mind control programs, and theories involving alien collaboration.
