Traditional Beaders Bring Their Yukon Community Together

Living in a small town can be isolating, especially during a pandemic, but some communities come together stronger than ever. In Dawson City, Yukon, Kyla Popadynec and Jackie Olson brought together a group of traditional beaders, both experienced and brand new, to make pins for their frontline workers, using the symbol of the fireweed flower. They had no idea that what they started would spread beyond Yukon's borders, and mean so much to so many people.
