- 29 minutes 7 seconds30-Minute Yoga for Hikers & Backpackers | Stretch Tight Hips, Legs & Back
Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon.
In this video episode, I'll guide you through a 30-minute yoga practice designed specifically for hikers and backpackers. Whether you've just finished a day hike, completed a backpacking trip, or simply want to relieve tight muscles, we'll focus on yoga poses that stretch the hips, hamstrings, calves, glutes, lower back, shoulders, and feet, areas that often become tight after spending time on the trail.
No yoga experience is required. Move at your own pace, listen to your body, and modify each pose as needed.
I hope this practice helps you recover well so you can get back on the trail feeling strong, mobile, and refreshed.

9 July 2026, 8:43 pm - 4 minutes 45 secondsRainy Day Meditation: Rinse, Release & Reset (Spiritually Fit Yoga with Amelia Andaleon)
Welcome to Spiritually Fit Yoga with Amelia Andaleon!
It's been raining in the San Francisco Bay so I recorded this on a cozy, stormy afternoon. The powerful rain metaphor invites you to rinse away mental clutter, release what no longer serves you, and reset your mind and body.
In this practice, the steady rhythm of rain becomes your anchor — guiding you back to the present moment, softening the nervous system, and creating space for calm to return.
This is a simple, supportive meditation for moments when you feel overwhelmed, overstimulated, or just need a quiet pause.
Let the rain help you release what you no longer need… and begin again.

Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon. This episode is a recording from a live yoga class on the Insight Timer app. It begins with a short meditation and pranayama called nadi shodhana, or alternate nostril breathing. To set up you might want a blanket, blocks, or any props as needed to support your practice. At the end of the class I end it in savasana in silence. You are welcome to listen into the conversation with the students after the class where I share about how yoga and meditation have calmed my nervous system and taught me to be less reactive to stressors in life. And, I share about my recent Yoga Hike to End Alzheimer's and how important it is for us to care for our brain health.

I swear ONCE during the introduction, to acknowledge that it feels like the world is going to sh!t, and to let you know, no matter how much you meditate or do yoga, the chaos and unrest can still get to us. I have consistently been requested to publish sleep and relaxation meditations and yoga practices. Because our nervous systems are frazzled and we could use the support to calm our minds, relax our bodies and soothe our nervous systems.

30 December 2025, 8:00 am - 4 minutes 23 seconds29/30 December Mini-Meditations — The Wisdom You Gained This Year
Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon! In Day 29 of our 30-day Mini-Meditation series, you are gently invited to call your energy back home. In this short meditation, we honor your year of wisdom — everything 2025 has taught you, shaped in you, softened in you, strengthened in you.
Wisdom isn’t about perfection or getting everything right.
Wisdom is what you gather from the journey — the lessons, the clarity, the truths that surfaced.Listen, reflect, meditate, or grab your journal and spend some time with the questions posed in this episode. Don’t rush past acknowledging how much you’ve grown this year. Instead of self-criticism, this meditation asks you to focus on this year’s nuggets of wisdom.

29 December 2025, 8:00 am - 5 minutes 29 seconds28/30 December Mini-Meditations — Call Your Energy Back
Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon! In Day 28 of our 30-days Mini-Meditation series, you are gently invited to call your energy back home. In this short meditation, we explore how our energy can become scattered—through over-giving, unresolved emotions, lingering worries, or attention pulled in too many directions. You’ll be guided to release what no longer needs your energy and consciously reclaim what belongs to you.
This practice is about remembrance—returning to yourself, restoring balance, and reconnecting with your inner steadiness. A grounding practice for anyone feeling depleted, stretched thin, or ready to come back into wholeness.

28 December 2025, 8:00 am - 7 minutes 41 seconds27/30 December Mini-Meditations — Aparigraha: Unclench Your Hold On Anger and Resentment
Welcome to the Spiritually Fit Yoga podcast with Amelia Andaleon! In Day 27 of our 30-day Mini-Meditation series, we explore aparigraha, the yogic practice of non-grasping, through the lens of releasing anger and resentment. In this short meditation, you’re invited to notice where holding on—to past hurts, unspoken grievances, or lingering stories—may be creating unnecessary pain, often directed inward.
With gentle awareness, this practice offers space to soften the grip of resentment and recognize that letting go is not about excusing or forgetting, but about freeing yourself from suffering. As we release what weighs heavy, we make room for ease, clarity, and inner freedom. A grounding practice for anyone ready to loosen old burdens and come back to peace.
