Motorcycle theft is becoming a massive problem for riders across the UK and beyond. But what happens when the victim decides to fight back?
In this episode of Bru Time, I’m joined by Matt Neale, founder of British motorcycle security company Fortlox. After suffering multiple bike thefts himself, Matt became determined to design a security system that could genuinely stand up to modern thieves armed with battery grinders and cutting tools.
That determination led to the creation of Fortlox and their flagship security products designed specifically to protect motorcycles in the real world.
We chat about:
If you care about protecting your bike, this is a conversation every rider should hear.

In this episode of Bru Time, I sit down with Murt Walsh — better known as The Mad Leprechaun — to talk about life on wheels, the realities of loss within the racing community, and the emotional toll it can take.
After experiencing tragedy firsthand, Murt is taking on a 3000-mile ride in support of mental health charity Mind. We discuss grief, imposter syndrome, purpose, resilience, and why sometimes the only way forward… is to ride.

Damian “Demon Rides” Rowley joins me on Bru Time from South America, mid-journey on his ride around the world.
A former London dispatch rider, Virgin LimoBike chauffeur, racer from club level to World Endurance, and instructor at the Ron Haslam Race School, Damian’s life has been shaped by motorcycles — but this episode goes far deeper than bikes.
We talk honestly about chronic pain, burnout, mid-life realisation, resilience, and what finally pushed Damian to walk away from comfort and choose life over survival. From fixing a bike at 15,700 feet in Peru to confronting mental and physical limits, this is a raw, grounded conversation about responsibility, freedom, and living on your own terms.
No hype. No hero worship. Just real talk about what it actually takes to live your life.
