    The North Carolina General Assembly has reached the roughly halfway point of its 2021 long session. Over 1,600 bills have been introduced and many pertain to the design and construction industry. 

    AIANC’s Executive Vice President, David Crawford, and advocacy Director, Jim Compton sit down to discuss the pieces of legislation most important to members of the AIA. Interior Designer registration, funding for capital construction, and much more are reviewed in an in-depth overview of bills for which AIA North Carolina is lobbying.
