The director of over twenty episodes of Scrubs, Michael Spiller, joins Zach Braff and Donald Faison to discuss one of the most technically difficult episodes in Scrubs’ history. How do you keep an octogenarian in the air for an entire scene? How much does a rotating room cost, really? And what influence has Spike Jones had on the design elements of this episode? The guys answer all these questions plus Donald tells us about the 5 a.m. wrap party with the interns, and Zach gets personal. He shares his childhood trauma and how he used it to motivate one of the most heartbreaking moments of JD’s life. Finally, should Elliot and JD be endgame, or is this a love that was too good to last?

On this week's episode, it's the season 2 finale, Bill's directorial debut on the Scrubs series, and the crew has become disillusioned with their dream career. In the real world, Zach and Donald continue their plan to get Joelle a partner. Zach reveals the time he flew to Las Vegas for a bottle of water.

Halloween comes to Sacred Heart Hospital, which means Donald is dressing up, finding the gays with the best candy, and busting a move. In this week’s episode, Zach and Donald are joined by fan favorite Ava Bunn (Dr. Sam Tosh) and newcomer John Higgins, who plays Grant, the intern. Together, this fabulous foursome recount Zach's daring and possibly life-threatening turn as Mary Poppins. They ponder the glory that would be Donald with hair. Plus, Grant details the wild world of SNL censors, while Ava teases a character we might see in the not-too-distant future.

It’s Turk’s birthday, but JD and Elliot are a little preoccupied by their significant others. What’s supposed to be a chill night with friends ends in betrayal, and somehow, a laugh. How do they always do that? On the podcast, Zach and Donald are joined by Doctor Dashana Trainor (Amanda Morrow) and Doctor Amara Hadi (Layla Mohammadi) to recount an episode heavily influenced by real-life events. Donald's love of all things steak, Zach's generous spirit, and the Scrubs cast's enduring friendships all take center stage in "My Best Friend's Birthday."

In this week's episode, Tasty Coma Wife wanted drama that JD struggled to deliver. In the real world, Zach and Donald bring back the Ask Bill segment.

This episode required a lot from the cast. Donald had to whip out two iconic impressions, and Zach worked on his voices. Ava Bunn teaches Zach and Donald about the chic new trend called Winnie the Poohing. Zach tries to convince everyone Ava's Chicken Little tattoo is not real. It's really not! Donald talks about, like, BC (before Clueless), while Zach revisits his early days, vacillating between performer and on-set assistant. Sarah details the difference between a 360 shower and an everything shower, plus the joys of a shower beverage.

On this week's episode, Turk can't stop having sex dreams about Elliot. In the real world, Joelle gets a much better fan call (I'm so sorry.) https://amandakloots.com/subscription-preview-page

Zach and Donald are mostly N*SYNC; Sean, aka Scott Foley, returns, and the podcast’s lore is now part of the TV series! Sarah Chalke returns to the pod with intern Dr. Sam Tosh, aka Ava Bunn. Chalke gives us another classic Sarah story. Donald shows off his Denzel Washington impersonation, but he forgot his notes. It’s a real return to form at Fake Doctors, Real Friends.

On this week's episode, JD steps all over Turk as he tries to appear cool for the surgeons. In the real world, Zach and Donald return after a week-long hiatus.

JD hasn’t… in a while, and neither have we. Zach Braff (JD) and Donald Faison (Turk) return to their beloved podcast Fake Doctors, Real Friends, now in video form. From their set in Vancouver, where they’re filming season two of Scrubs, Zach and Donald recap the season two premiere, “My First Time in a While,” with special co-host Sarah Chalke (Elliot). They talk about the jokes left on the cutting room floor, September in Vancouver, and the absolute joy of watching John C. McGinley expertly deliver a perfectly written Dr. Cox speech.

JD gets a mentee, and we get to spend another day with Sarah Chalke. Part two of the Scrubs season two premiere, “My Mentee,” takes viewers into Dr. Cox’s frightening new reality as a patient at Sacred Heart Hospital. Zach soft pitches bonus episodes of Scrubs. Donald shares a Flavor Flav behind-the-scenes story. While Sarah is left out of the group chat, but she still loves Michael James Scott. Knicks in five, a La La Land education, and hidden talents from the interns.
