Danny Doll of Rochester, New York band Wicked joins Non-Stop Rock Talk to discuss the bands latest album entitled 'Go Rebel'. 

The interview is a great discussion of old and new. Danny is a fan of everything from David Bowie, Starz, Cheap Trick to Shotgun Messiah, Southgang and D Generation. 

House of Guitars in Rochester is also discussed and what you are to expect if you ever make it through the front door. 

Touring with David Ellefson, Jeff Young and Fred Aching of thrash band Kings of Chaos is brought up. There were a few shenanigans along the way that made the tour extra special for Wicked.

Non-Stop Rock Talk welcomes jazz fusion guitarist/composer/producer Brian Tarquin to discuss his latest instrumental album entitled 'Tyranny of Tone'. The album features many virtuoso guitarists - Joe Satriani, Gary Hoey, Gus G., Bumblefoot, Bruce Kullick and monster bassist Stu Hamm.

The discussion not only focuses on the material on the album but also talks of Brian's studio in Florida that features an 80's era Trident analog board, recording on 2" tape and the use of modern technology within the context of the old equipment. 

This is a full on guitar discussion that goes into the depths of the 80's guitar hero when magazines like Guitar Player and Guitar for the Practicing Musician played a huge part into the 80's era.

Non-Stop Rock Talk welcomes virtuoso guitarist Erik Gamans of Cold Sweat and Waysted. Erik and Tyson touch on many things in relation to Cold Sweat and Waysted. 

At 17 yrs old Erik was hired by Pete Way to play guitar in Waysted. From there he joined the band Ferrari at 19. The band would then become Cold Sweat and sign with MCA Records. 

Erik talks candidly about how gracious Ronnie James Dio was to him and the band. Living with Dio guitarist Rowan Robertson and how certain licks they were working on together ended up on the Cold Sweat album 'Breakout' and Dio's 'Lock Up The Wolves' album. 

Now, for those expecting the Waysted, Cold Sweat and Dio stories immediately. The first portion of this interview sees Erik talking candidly about his love of Randy Rhoads. Erik and Tyson go in depth breaking down song structing and Randy's solos. Erik also alludes to the fact that he had tickets to see Ozzy Osbourne days after Randy's death. Erik got to see one of the few shows that Bernie Torme did with Ozzy. Although, Erik was disappointed by the loss of Randy, and the reason he was going to see Ozzy, but seeing Bernie Torme is now a piece of Rock N' Roll history that adds so much mystery to Ozzy's early solo career. 

Erik also discusses what he focuses his attention on these days. Besides playing with Cold Sweat and Little Ozzy, Erik also runs a great music catalog business which is called 'Sonic Librarian' that provides songs to movie and tv. 

For those fans of Randy Rhoads, this is a definitive listen. As huge fans, Erik (biggest fan ever) and Tyson discuss so much Randy. Erik recalls his Mom taking him to see The Cars on March 18th, 1982 at the Boston Garden. He was off school that day, driving around in the car when he found out Randy had tragically passed.

Non-Stop Rock Talk welcomes singer Eddie Robison formerly of Alleycat Scratch, Resurrection Mary and Jet 68. Eddie joins the show to discuss his book 'The Backer: Fame Costs', which was released in 2022. The book is based on the band Sinner Sanctuary who is approached by a woman who wants to fund the band. She buys them instruments, rock star clothes and studio time with hopes of reaching the payoff in the end which is a record deal with hopes of selling millions of albums. 

Eddie and Tyson also discuss some of the music of Resurrection Mary which can be found on their 'Moon Over Babylon' album. The lyrics really come into play as Eddie reveals what inspired him to write some of the songs. 

Names like Tracii Guns and Rikki Rachtman are mentioned along the way as well. They too play into Eddie's story. It was the 80's in L.A., so names like that are expected to play into the story!

Non-Stop Rock Talk welcomes singer Andrew Elt to discuss his brand new album with 7 Miles to Pittsburgh entitled 'Beyond Repair'. Andrew and Tyson dive deep into the songs, the production, the instrumentation and the formats the album is available in. 

This episode is also a journey into Andrew's past work with Sleeze Beez. Within the discussion many things are brought up. There is a segment where Andrew and Tyson discuss the reissues of the classic Sleeze Beez albums 'Powertool' and 'Insanity Beach'. Andrew actually opens his reissue copy of 'Insanity Beach'  for the first time on the show. It is brought up about how the label could have had talked to the band about taking part in the reissue. 

Of course for those that love a good 'Non=Stop Rock Talk' - an intimate part of the interview is Andrew going in depth to the bands he witnessed live in Holland in the late 70's/early 80's. It is actually mind blowing the amount of legendary artists and bands he witnessed.

Chris McLernon joins Non-Stop Rock Talk to discuss his amazing new book entitled 'Screaming in Hollywood: The Last Gold Rush'. 

Within this interview Chris and Tyson discuss many aspects of the book. Chris's travels from Wisconsin to Hollywood where he was destined to make it as a rock star. Seeing upstarts Poison at the Troubadour on his first visit to an L.A. club, a random Gene Simmons sighting and his journeys in the band Ferrari which would become MCA Records artist Cold Sweat, but not without a few complications along the way.

There is some astounding material within the interview as Chris describes a bizarre meeting with Dokken/Lynch Mob guitarist George Lynch, similarities in a certain Cold Sweat song to one recorded by Lynch Mob and how long it took to find Cold Sweat singer Roy Cathey after the sudden departure of Oni Logan.

Drummer Shandon Sahm joins Non-Stop Rock Talk from his home in Amsterdam, Holland to discuss his journey in rock n' roll. 

The discussion encompasses so many aspects of Shandon's career. From his early days drumming for Geffen recording artists Pariah to uprooting from Austin, Texas to building a new life in Amsterdam, Holland. 

It is all here. Shandon discusses the early days of Pariah. The release of the 1989 demo cassette entitled 'Rattle Your Skull', Pariah deciding not to sign with Chrysalis Records even though the label really wanted to sign the band, the track "Shatter Me" that should have been the bands first single, finding a producer for the bands one and only big label release entitled 'To Mock A Killingbird' and hanging with Motley Crue drummer Tommy Lee after Shandon eluded to the fact of being able to hook him up with some weed. 

Within the conversation, a relationship between Shandon and Tyson is formed. The two hit it off and it makes for a very insightful and interesting interview. This is worth a listen!!!

Non-Stop Rock Talk Proudly presents Britt Lightning (Vixen) and Tommy London (Sirius XM) to discuss their brand new project entitled The Jetsetters. 

The new single - 'Above The Noise' is gaining major traction. A catchy and infectious song with a killer hook. Not only is there an electric version but an acoustic version which shows maturity and depth within the songwriting. 

Britt and Tommy also discuss how the name was chosen, the vison behind 'Above the Noise' and the other members of the band. 

The two's friendship with wrestler/musician Robby Vegas is discussed and Tommy eludes to the fact that he would love to manage Robby's wrestling career like Jimmy Hart or Bobby Heenan did in the glory days of the WWF. 

The discussion also talks of Britt taking part in the Rock N Roll Fantasy Camp where singer John Torra took part. Of course there is speculation that he could be the guy to be the new Quiet Riot frontman.

Pat and Tyson discuss many things in relation to Anything But Human including gear, upcoming tour dates and new music.

It would not be rock talk if there was not conversation about other bands.  Marvelous 3 and Southgang are all mentioned as both bands featured the legendary Butch Walker. Pat and Tyson both admire Butch's work.

Of course Pat once played in Four X Fate with Frehley's Comet members Tod Howarth and the late John Regan. This band also included former Skid Row drummer Rob Affuso. Frehley's Comet has a legacy and Pat eludes to that fact. Within this portion of the conversation Ace Frehley and Richie Scarlet are also mentioned.

Keyboardist Jimmy Waldo of legendary band Alcatrazz joins Non-Stop Rock Talk to discuss many things in terms of the bands latest release entitled 'Prior Convictions' on BraveWords Records, working with amazing guitarists like Yngwie J. Malmsteen and Steve Vai on the bands prior work and of course current guitarist Joe Stump. 

There is so much conversation that touches on so many great musicians of the era. For Tyson to discuss these things with Jimmy is such an honor. Jimmy talks of his love for guitarists like Gary Moore, Stevie Ray Vaughan and Eddie Van Halen. 

The segment goes into Jimmy discussing his work with Vinnie Vincent on 'Warrior: The Complete Sessions'. These sessions are quite a great listen as many of the songs ended up on later Vinnie Vincent Invasion albums. Songs like "That Time of Year", "Back on the Streets" and "Boys Are Gonna Rock" are all included in this package. "Tears" which was recorded by John Waite is in these recordings. There are also unreleased songs like "Gypsy In Her Eyes" and "It's Not Pretty (Being Easy)" that all come up in discussion. 

Jimmy and Tyson both agree that Vinnie is a brilliant songwriter who could have been in a class with Desmond Child, Jack Ponti and Holly Knight. 

As a singer, Vinnie has a brilliant voice. He could have fronted the Vinnie Vincent Invasion but chose Robert Fleishman and Mark Slaughter to emulate all his great songs as Vinnie wanted a singer who sang in a higher register. There is a feeling that Vinnie didn't need to hire a singer.

The discussion also touches on Vinnie as a guitar player and how we both feel that he didn't need to puke all over the songs with his intense playing. It was the 80's and it seems that Vinnie felt pressure to keep up with the likes of Yngwie, Vai and Van Halen. 

There is so much respect for Vinnie Vincent as a musician. There is just a feeling that maybe he got in his own head too much that lead to his leaving the business for many years.

Within this interview you will get the whole truth about McQueen Street. This is a story that gives the listener an eye opening account of what it was like to be an artist signed to a major label in the late 80's early 90's. 

Derek and Tyson discuss all things pertaining to the band. Signing with SBK Records, working with legendary producer Tom Werman, his displeasure with the bands album cover and how the promotion of SBK for the album became frustrating especially when the 'Nevermind/Grunge' era began. 

For fans of the era, this is an absolute monster of an interview. Derek is insightful, honest and really gives an interview that shows his integrity as an artist. McQueen Street is a small part of a big era in music. Still Derek and McQueen Street are a very important part of what can be termed as 'the greatest era' in music.
