Where's the line between engagement and exploitation? So-called 'stunt creators' on OnlyFans have stirred up a lot of controversy in the last few years, with some creators targeting teenagers at Schoolies, or attempting to break records for having sex with the most people. Dissociative Identity Disorder (formerly Multiple Personality Disorder) has long been misrepresented and misunderstood, but Dr Jeni Haynes is here to change that. In 2019, she made international headlines when she testified against her father, who was the perpetrator of years of sexual, physical and psychological abuse upon her. It was the first time in the Australian legal system to accept testimony from alters within a person living with DID was accepted as evidence in a criminal prosecution. Since her landmark case, Jeni has co-authored a memoir, and is the subject of a new feature-length documentary 'We Are Jeni'. Abbie sits down with Dr Jeni to discuss why she still identifies with the term MPD (but disagrees with the disorder part), how her alters make decisions, and her journey from not being believed to finding justice.

UPDATE FROM ABBIE: "Please note I've gotten two new pieces of information since publishing this episode; The first is that I had seen screenshots of Nara Smith using #tradwife, but I have since been told they were not real thanks to a follower! Any references to this have now been edited out of the episode. I have also found out that she has previously posted videos of herself drinking raw milk while pregnant." (It is illegal to sell raw/unpasteurised milk for human consumption in Australia)

Nara Smith's appearance on Call Her Daddy caused some arguments online about what she does or doesn't stand for. Abbie unpacks why Nara never was a trad-wife, why some women are rejecting the title, and talks about the real dangers that these videos cause. At just 16 years old Lily Schubert got sick, eventually receiving a diagnosis of Myalgic Encephalomyelitis. She was forced to drop out of school and was bedbound for six years. Her condition worsened to the point that even small exposures to light, sound, or touch would cause severe crashes. As her symptoms started to improve, she started documenting her life on TikTok, with videos of her 'firsts' reaching millions of people around the world. Lily sits down with Abbie to talk about the reality of living with ME, what helped her get through her darkest days, and why she doesn't subscribe to the 'gratitude' narrative.
