- 23 minutes 28 secondsLET'S ROLL: The Story of United Flight 93
On September 11, 2001, United Airlines Flight 93 departed Newark International Airport bound for San Francisco. It would never reach its destination.
While Flight 93 was still in the air, American Airlines Flight 11 and United Airlines Flight 175 struck the World Trade Center in New York, and American Airlines Flight 77 was headed toward the Pentagon. The passengers and crew aboard Flight 93 initially had no way of knowing that America was under attack—or that their own aircraft would soon become part of it.
In this special September 11 episode of Music City 911, we follow the story of United Flight 93 from its delayed departure from Newark through the hijacking, the increasingly alarming transmissions heard by air traffic controllers, the phone calls made by passengers and crew, and the realization aboard the aircraft that the hijackers likely intended to use Flight 93 as a weapon.
Those calls changed everything.
Passengers and crew began sharing what they had learned from people on the ground. Knowing what had already happened in New York and Washington, a group aboard Flight 93 made the decision to fight back. Their attempt to retake the aircraft ended when Flight 93 crashed near Shanksville, Pennsylvania, at 10:03 a.m. All 40 passengers and crew members aboard were killed, along with the four hijackers. No one on the ground was killed.
This episode uses actual air traffic control recordings, authentic passenger and crew voicemail recordings, historical photographs, archival material, documents, maps and visual recreations to tell the story of Flight 93 and the people aboard it.
Some scenes in this episode are visual recreations of events for which no original video footage exists. They are included to help illustrate the documented sequence of events and are not presented as authentic archival footage.

11 September 2026, 5:00 am - 21 minutes 8 secondsShe Told Her Family He Was Going to Kill Her. Then Police Found Them.
A woman flies into Peoria, Illinois for a wedding. Her ex-boyfriend unexpectedly meets her at the airport, and shortly afterward she begins secretly texting her family: he's going to kill her.
Her family calls 911 while Ashley Stenson continues sending them information about where Cortez White is taking her. Police eventually locate the two outside the Four Points by Sheraton in downtown Peoria.
What happens when the first officer arrives is captured from two very different perspectives — his body-worn camera and the camera mounted inside his patrol car.
In this episode of Music City 911, I break down the response, the shooting, the officer's actions in the seconds that follow, and some of the things that aren't immediately obvious when watching the video.

7 September 2026, 5:00 am - 35 minutes 3 secondsThe Most Ridiculous Shoplifting Excuse I've Ever Heard
A shoplifting call outside a Florida Walmart seems pretty straightforward.
Then she starts talking.
What begins as a relatively simple investigation quickly turns into one of those encounters where every new answer seems to create two more questions. There’s a game called “21,” a supposedly random car, a boyfriend who apparently has no idea what’s going on, and a suspect who is more than willing to explain all of it to deputies.
And somehow, that’s only the beginning.
In this episode of Music City 911, we break down the bodycam footage from an encounter that just keeps getting stranger the longer it goes.
Sometimes the best thing law enforcement can do is ask a question... and then just let somebody talk.

28 August 2026, 5:00 am - 31 minutes 53 secondsJohnnathy Johnson's A Series of Unfortunate Decisions
An armed Brinks truck robbery turns into a high-speed police pursuit reaching nearly 130 MPH — and ends with one of the most intense police bodycam encounters I’ve ever covered.
On January 21, 2026, police in Elyria, Ohio responded after an armed suspect robbed a Brinks armored truck outside an AT&T store. What followed was a rapidly escalating series of events involving a Honda HR-V, a police pursuit through residential streets and highways, a crash, a foot chase, and an armed suspect desperately trying to escape.
And that's about as much as I'm going to tell you.
This episode is a little different from the usual Music City 911. There’s plenty to analyze from the 911/public-safety side, but the sheer number of increasingly unfortunate decisions made along the way demanded a slightly different approach.
You'll see actual surveillance footage, police bodycam, dashcam and Ring camera video documenting the incident as it unfolded, along with investigative material released by the Ohio Bureau of Criminal Investigation.
At the center of the response is Elyria Police Officer Ali Sabeiha. What he does when he realizes innocent people may be in immediate danger is worth watching for yourself.
This is Johnnathy Johnson’s A Series of Unfortunate Decisions.

18 August 2026, 5:00 am - 39 minutes 42 secondsThe 911 Call That Sent Police to a Playground Real 911 Calls & Police Bodycam
Three incidents. Three very different 911 calls and police responses. And in each one, the information available to dispatchers and responding officers becomes incredibly important as events unfold. In this episode of Music City 911, you'll hear actual 911 audio and police radio traffic and see real body-worn camera and surveillance footage from critical incidents in Florida, Illinois and Texas. As always, I'll break down what we're hearing and seeing from the perspective of someone who has spent more than 25 years working behind a 911 console. Some of these incidents aren't what they initially appear to be. Rather than give anything away here, I'll let the calls and the evidence tell the stories as they happened. ⚠️ LISTENER & VIEWER DISCRETION ADVISED This episode contains authentic 911 audio, discussions of homicide and domestic violence, firearm audio, police use of deadly force, and real body-worn camera and surveillance footage from fatal incidents. Although graphic injury is not the focus of the program, some viewers and listeners may find the material disturbing.

LISTENER DISCRETION ALWAYS ADVISED!!! ESPECIALLY THIS EPISODE!!!
Every one of these calls started the same way...
A knife.
But from there, they couldn't have unfolded more differently.
In this episode of Music City 911, we examine three real incidents through the actual 911 calls and police body camera footage. You'll hear dispatchers gathering critical information, officers making split-second decisions, and watch events unfold exactly as first responders experienced them.
No actors.
No reenactments.
No speculation.Just the original audio, the bodycam footage, and the perspective of a veteran 911 dispatcher explaining what most people don't realize is happening behind the scenes.
This episode includes incidents from:
🔹 San Diego, California
🔹 Hartford, Connecticut
🔹 Fairfax County, VirginiaThroughout the episode, I'll explain why dispatchers ask certain questions, what officers are trying to accomplish, why some situations escalate so quickly, and what details are easy to miss while you're watching the bodycam footage.
These are the kinds of calls that remind you just how quickly an ordinary day can change.

LISTENER AND VIEWER DISCRETION ALWAYS ADVISED!!!! ESPECIALLY THIS EPISODE!!!
A frantic 911 call reporting 4-year-old Javeayah Harris missing in Aiken County, South Carolina launches a massive search involving the Aiken County Sheriff's Office, investigators, and hundreds of volunteers. As the investigation unfolds, what first appears to be a desperate missing child case takes unexpected turns that no one on scene could have anticipated.
In our second case, officers with the San Diego Police Department in California respond to reports of an armed man carrying a rifle inside a tire. What begins as an unusual weapons call quickly escalates into a dangerous police pursuit, helicopter surveillance, body camera footage, a crash into a home, and an officer-involved shooting.
In this episode of Music City 911, former 911 dispatcher Brandon uses 26 years of emergency communications experience to break down both incidents from the dispatcher's perspective. You'll hear the original 911 calls, police body-worn camera footage, helicopter video, dispatch audio, and analysis of what first responders knew—and didn't know—as these rapidly evolving events unfolded.
