The Dallas Stars prepare for a pivotal game five versus the Vegas Golden Knights with a series lead on the line. The Dallas Stars pull out a gritty 4-2 win over the Vegas Golden Knights in game four and tie the series at two games a piece heading back to Dallas. On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey breaks down the defensive clinic the Stars put on in the 3rd period to shut down the Vegas attack and close out the win. Amazing performances from defenseman Chris Tanev and Esa Lindell who both had four blocks and led the stand in the third. We also discuss the incredible shift from Roope Hintz that led to his eventual empty net goal to seal the win. Joey goes on to talk about the adversity the Stars went through in the regular season with injuries to Miro Heiskanen and Jake Oettinger, and how we are starting to see the impact and resilience in this series. To finish off the recap, Joey goes into the chess match between Pete DeBoer and Bruce Cassidy heading into game five. Both teams know how to shut one another down, but now it feels like a game of adjustments and Dallas has the edge in the last two games.

Ahead of game four between the Dallas Stars and Vegas Golden Knights, Joey of Locked On Stars previews tonight's game including updates on Mason Marchment and Radek Faksa, how the Stars can replicate success they found in game three, and the response of Vegas on home ice. 

The Dallas Stars take down the Vegas Golden Knight in an overtime thriller by a final score of 3-2. Joey reacts to Wyatt Johnston's overtime winner and the Dallas Stars dominance for much of game three. The Stars could not have had a better start, after Miro Heiskanen made it 2-0 in the 2nd period it felt like Dallas was untouchable. 

The Dallas Stars head to Vegas for Game three against the Vegas Golden Knights trailing in the series two game to none. With injuries to Radek Faksa and Mason Marchment game two, the Stars have recalled recent AHL MVP Mavrik Bourque. Bourque had 77 points in 71 games this season with Texas, and could potentially be in the lineup tonight.

The Dallas Stars lose game two by a final score of 3-1 and the Vegas Golden Knights take a commanding 2-0 series lead back to Vegas for game three. Jason Robertson scored his 2nd goal of the series to give Dallas a 1-0 lead, but it was answered by Jonathan Marchessault a few minutes later. 

On today's episode of Locked On Stars, Joey relays his thoughts and opinions after rewatching the Dallas Stars 4-3 loss to the Vegas Golden Knights in game one. He believes their are a lot more positives about the Stars coming out of game one than he initially thought.
