Air force policewoman Gaye Baker disappeared after taking a second job as a “hostess” with an escort agency in Fortitude Valley in 1972. She wanted to earn more money because her mother was ill and would likely need an operation they couldn’t afford. Gaye disappeared after going to Clayfield to meet her first client.
