White Homework is a podcast for people wanting to learn about antiracism, the non-revised version of American history, and how to leverage privilege to create a more equitable world for all.
How should we talk to people about homelessness? How can we be good neighbors to the unhoused folks living in our communities? In this episode, Benji and Tori talk to author and activist Kevin M. Nye about the work he's been doing to talk to Christians about ending homelessness, and how we can advocate for change in these times.
This week Benji and Tori are talking about the importance of interracial solidarity in the face of rising fascism even when our "teams" don't always see eye to eye. And we're asking the question, whose responsibility is it to hold the line? And who is at risk when we decide to throw away our compassion and just stop caring about the well-being of our neighbors? (Hint: it's you. You're at risk.)
Circle up, we're talking about the importance of protecting trans folks as we see this ascent of fascism. We're not throwing anybody off the bus. International Transgender Day of Visibility is more important than ever, so please do a quick online search and get involved.

We hold this truth to be self-evident: the US government lacks the moral authority to dictate who can and can't get married. But like, how did we get here? This week we're talking about how Black folks convinced the government to let us marry whoever TF we want AND helped lay the groundwork for marriage equality across the board. Turns out, our liberation is all tied together.

We're celebrating Black History Month by learning about some Black folks who deserve a little more attention, starting with the story of Sister Rosetta Tharpe. A trailblazer who rejected the status quo of 20th century American white supremacy to live her musical dreams and pave a path for others.
We're starting Black History Month early this year with a big announcement! Benjamin Faye is officially joining the podcast as a co-host! This week we are talking about the importance of holding on to our hope while authoritarianism is on the rise.
We get a lil vulnerable, sharing from our own personal journeys, struggles, and some practices for staying grounded.
We're doing a patron drive for Black History Month! Help support the show!
