While the sci-fi backdrop is epic, the focus stays firmly on people: their compromises, their survival tactics, and the lines they’re willing (or unwilling) to cross. Each season centers on a different character grappling with themes like corruption, inequality, immortality, and the double-edged nature of technology. It’s gritty, thoughtful, and deeply human, even when it gets violent.

At its core, The Strata is about life at the bottom rung of society. How do people endure injustice when the system is stacked against them? What happens to relationships under that pressure? And what does “rising above” actually look like when the odds are overwhelming?
