A young couple who move into a beautiful old house in upstate New York,  discover that something inside seems capable of doing far more than simply frightening its occupants, in Dan's first story. As the years pass, unexplained footsteps, violent disturbances, apparitions, accidents, and disturbing changes in the people who live there leave them wondering whether or not the house itself is slowly destroying everyone who stays too long. Then, two professional puppeteers living above their basement theater in Greenwich Village begin sharing their old townhouse with phantom footsteps, the scent of mysterious perfume, and an elegantly dressed stranger who appears and disappears without explanation. Then Hans Holzer arrives with a medium—and what begins as an unusually charming haunting takes a sudden dark turn.Then, Lynze has three stories that are all connected, similarly to Dan's! Ironic! Her tales explore various kinds of spirits in haunted houses. It sure does make you wonder how often we are surrounded by the dead, how often we simply brush things off or miss signals from the other side.

Dan switches things up with four short stories this week. Dan's  one and only - but much bigger than normal story - we visit an abandoned mining town in Chile's unforgiving Atacama Desert. Locals claim that on rare nights, a bell rings through the ruins and the dead quietly return to finish a day that may have never truly ended. Lynze brings us four tales this week! For decades, motorists traveling near the town of Uniondale have reported picking up a young woman standing alone beside the highway—only to discover she has vanished from their vehicle without explanation. Behind the famous ghost story lies the tragedy of a real woman whose final journey may still be repeating itself along a lonely stretch of road. Generations of South African children have warned one another never to enter a school bathroom alone, because something called Pinky Pinky may be waiting inside. No one agrees on exactly what the creature looks like—but they all agree it’s terrifying. Two families experience a variety of spooky moments in a cabin in the mountains only to have their suspicions confirmed. Two fan tales are connected, kind of. So many stories from Dan this week!We start with an Air Force officer who returns home from what was supposed to be a surprise visit... only to discover someone may have beat him to the punch. Someone impersonating him over the phone. Is it an alien? Then, after one of America's deadliest train disasters, a grieving family desperately waits for news from a loved one believed to be trapped somewhere in the wreckage. Then their phones start ringing. Lastly, for years, paranormal researcher D. Scott Rogo  dismissed most ghost stories as unreliable folklore—until he began collecting eerily similar accounts from complete strangers who all claimed the impossible. Across decades and continents, ordinary telephones supposedly connected the living with voices that should never have been able to speak, let alone, call again. Lynze's tales this week run the gamut! First up, fan Grace is worried that she might have a ghost trying to get into her house. Or worse.It might be stuck, trying to get out. Then, two young friends witness a cloaked family with various deformities. Are they a cult? Is it paranormal? Lastly, another fan asks us to examine what sleepwalking might be, through the paranormal lens.

Dan's first of two tales is a really in-depth and unsettling modern encounter claim revolving around a doll. As a little girl, Caroline quickly realized something was wrong with the doll in the blue dress. And the longer she had it, the more wrong it became. Then we head back almost a century to unearth an old, documented paranormal legend.  During one terrifying winter in 1939, something with a scream "like a banshee" sent an entire corner of West Virginia into a frenzy, drawing hunters from across the country into the Appalachian wilderness. Was the mysterious Blue Devil simply the last gray wolf in the state or did the people of Grassy Creek spend months chasing something far stranger? Then Lynze brings us two really big tales this week! Her takes place in a very unassuming place, a conference center. Did the overnight security guard encounter the spirit of a woman or was his mind only playing tricks on him? Lastly, Grant Mansion is the fictitious name this fan gives to the very real and very haunted house she grew up in.
