Nearly 60% of Americans take dietary supplements, but most people don’t know which ones are backed by real evidence and which may be ineffective or dangerous. In thisepisode, I break down Consumer Reports’ article on supplements worth considering and supplements to avoid, including magnesium, vitamin D,probiotics, protein powders, kratom, green tea extract, and more. I’ll discuss supplement safety, contamination risks, dosing concerns, drug interactions, and why “natural” does not always mean safe. I summarize the Consumer Reportsarticle titled “The Supplements That Could Actually Be Worth Trying” and give my opinions.

Can you get rhabdomyolysis (rhabdo) from taking GLP-1 medications like Ozempic, Wegovy, and Mounjaro(tirzepatide)? Here are the reports of people getting rhabdo after taking these medications, including how much they took, how high their creatine kinase level were, and what happened. Rhabdo after taking glucagon-like peptides appears to be rare but this is still a side effect people should be aware of.
View the video below to see the reports yourself.

AOD9604, also known as the HGH fragment 177-191, is one of the most talked-about peptides in the fitness and anti-aging worlds. In fact, AOD is said to refer to "anti-obesity drug." This is the audio of a video I created on the AOD9604 peptide research. I break down the research behind AOD9604, the dosages tested, and what the results really mean. To see the references and the research itself, see the video below.

A new study is making waves in the bodybuilding community that hints that IFBB professional bodybuilding carries a higher risk of death compared to amateur bodybuilders. Almost 20,000 bodybuilders were followed for an average of 8 years. Results: 1 in every 167 bodybuilders had died and of those 46 deaths were related to sudden cardiac arrest. Their hearts stopped working suddenly, without warning. Among Mr. Olympia competitors, it was 1 out of every 20. What's the cause and are these results to be believed? Here's what you need to know.

Today I want to circle back and look at that research again. Someone had informed me that there are 2 human studies showing that topical copper peptides can grow hair back. Is the health of America's children really in crisis — or is the data being misused? In this episode, I break down the controversial "Make Our Children Healthy Again" (MAHA) report released by the White House in 2025. I'll explain the report's claims about ultra-processed food, toxic chemical exposure, screen addiction, childhood overmedication, and corporate influence on science all without the political spin. This is episode 220.
