Join Jo and Caz, two hardworking, fun-loving Aussie sisters approaching the middle chapters of life as singles. It is their hope that by offering a glimpse into their own lives, a tapestry of funny, serious and sad experiences, they will provide listeners, who are perhaps travelling the same road with some personal insights, guidance or advice. And plenty of laughs along the way.
What have the Single Sisters been up to this fortnight… well easier to say what they haven't been. Even though life is still pretty quiet due to #Covid19 – maybe not as quiet as you think and could one of the sister’s be expecting a Covid baby, surely not?
With all this extra time on their hands surely they are making headway in achieving some of the goals they have previously set or have addictions been taken too far. Has Caz found her McDreamy Personal Trainer or spent too much time on Marketplace buying up a storm. Jo gives an update on her latest coffee date adventure, success or not, what is she really looking for in a man and why always so much chilli?
The Sisters share some of their future goals and dreams and money making schemes. Conversations of tax return time, superannuation hints and tips and plans of future side hustles. All told in full Jo & Caz style!!
Enjoy this candid yet funny conversation and don’t forget to reach out to us on our socials, because if you haven’t been able to tell yet, these fun loving sisters like a chat 😊

Episode Notes
Heard of catfishing, benching or ghosting… no? Neither did the Single Sisters until they decided to delve a little further into the world of online dating. Caz gives us all the latest lingo to fish with. Jo gives an update on her latest attempts to find “true love” online, along with some interesting tips she has picked up along the way. Jo and Caz have taken their turns to find love via various dating apps but alas they are still the Single Sisters.
On the subject of online dating, a real life true love romance is the backdrop to our interview this fortnight. Our dear friend Sam opens up about how she met her hunk of a spunk husband online and how 5 years later they are happily married and have just moved into their newly built dream home. It’s quite a story and one that gives us Single Sisters hope that there is someone waiting out there just for us. We hope you enjoy this special episode on dating and love. And always remember #life.laughter.leisure.LOVE!.

Episode Notes - Season 2 Episode 6 – Life After Lockdown
After their lockdown hiatus, the Single Sisters are finally back in the studio. This episode provides some insight on how they dealt with being locked up due to the current Covid-19 pandemic. While it has been a tough time for many, for these Single Sisters being anti-social just isn’t something they can do easily. How did they manage to entertain themselves? Well they purchased a new toy (and nooooo not what you are thinking haha!!) and held some wild home cocktail and karaoke nights.
Listen in for some more details on how Jo & Caz managed to get through the last few months mostly unscathed and what other antics they got up too, including way too much clothes shopping. Is there even such a thing??
And what’s in store for the next 6 months, the girls have both set themselves some goals for the rest of the year. Wonder what they will achieve by December? They are so happy to be back in the studio and have some awesome episodes coming up so make sure you subscribe and keep tuned in to your favourite Single Sisters.

Season 2 Episode 3 - Celebrating Women
Jo and Caz certainly celebrated being women on multiple occasions for International Women’s Day. Listen up in Episode 3 as they keep you up to date on their hectic yet funny lives. They might just throw out a couple of true confessions as well. It’s all about being open and honest right?? The month of March is also Women in History month so the #SingleSisters have put their own spin on the lives of two women from our rich Australian history. As both sisters are different it was no surprise that the women they chose were very different. Don’t sit there and wonder who they are, listen up now.

Show Notes - Season 2 Episode 2 - A Love Story
February is the month of all things LOVE and while the Single Sisters still search for their “Princes in Shining Armour” this fortnight their hearts have been filled by spending time with those they love and who love them.
Never too shy away from a Karaoke microphone, the Single Sisters headed to their local to down a few Bazooka Joe’s and bash out the odd Fleetwood Mac tune. There was also a fun night with their gal pals at a Galentines Night event, where they purchased a few pretty things and smelly things….“Maple Syrup” anyone
But the Number 1 event of the fortnight, was getting to sit down with their dear Mum. These two Single Sisters have always been supported in anything they do in their lives by their Mum and she was only too happy, yet nervous to be interviewed in this Valentine’s Day special interview and relive her own personal “Love Story”. We can all learn a few things from the wiseness and experience of our parents. Enjoy!

SHOW NOTES - Episode 9 The Festive Season
As Season 1 of Single Sisters wraps up like Christmas presents, Caz does an awesome job capturing snippets of the last few months and all that has been happening in our lives.
Christmas is just around the corner and the Single Sisters discuss their family traditions as well as how it feels to face the festive season as singles and reiterate for our listeners “you are never alone” as long as we are here.
We reflect on the past year, but more importantly the decade that was as we prepare to leave it behind us, well actually it can well and truly “eff off”! There has been deaths, separations, divorces and too many moves as well as other life changing events to many to count to be honest. But the Single Sisters got through it and are ready for a great year and decade ahead.
Merry Christmas, Happy holidays, however you chose to celebrate the season Jo and Caz wish you a great one and will be back with more adventures, stories and laughs in 2020.
Ps Paying tribute to all the firefighters doing an incredible job fighting the fires in NSW and across Australia. We as a family are donating and if you are able, we urge you to check with your local brigade and see what you can do to help.

The Single Sisters continue their move from the beloved Abode on Ardy to the Manor on McMahon, but they find time for a well earned break and take a casual drive 47km to Kmart for some shopping. While this proved disappointing the Bakehouse Pie did not. Every last crumb was enjoyed before embarking on our trip home and the recording of this episode.
Caz & Jo debrief on what has been a whirlwind couple of months starting with the recording of an Australian TV news program interview telling the story of Jo's son, Josh and the lovable larrikin he was before his sudden death, and how she has dealt with the Anniversary month coinciding with so many other life events this year. While grief, loss and stress is a very important and serious subject, and the Single Sisters have certainly had their fair share of these emotions in the past & present, we try to embrace it all in the way we both know best, light hearted humour and lots of random chatting. And Caz reveals what has helped her the most over the last few weeks in-between packing up her possessions, and trying to recover from her surgery.
Our hope is that in sharing our experiences, the great, the funny, the sad and the bad, that you or someone you care about might be able to take something away from our chats.
As this episode explores the topic of grief and loss. Should you experience any effects or triggers from listening please reach out to family, friends or a health professional. You can visit Beyond Blue and chat online through their website:- https://www.beyondblue.org.au/the-facts/grief-and-loss OR call Beyond Blue - 1300 22 4636
The Single Sisters always have their ears and hearts and virtual arms open if you wish to talk or message us to share your own experiences or stories.
