- 9 minutes 40 seconds016 - How to Optimize Your Sleep
Today I want to talk about something that I'm trying to take more seriously in my life.
I realised recently after a coaching call with my friend that my sleep schedule is having a huge impact on every aspect of my life. It's pretty much a snowball effect.
You know how the cycle goes:
- go to bed late
- wake up late
- too tired to hit the gym
- productivity suffers
- have a nap
- another late night because you're not tiredIt's relentless.
That's' why I'm on a mission to change my sleep for the better, starting with this short list of 8 things I've started doing in an attempt to optimize my sleep.
Bit of a different episode today, but I hope you enjoyed it nonetheless!

26 November 2019, 4:03 pm - 13 minutes 37 seconds015 - My First 3 Months as A Digital Nomad: Did Solo Travel Change My Life?
91 days ago I took my first steps on what I thought would be a life-changing journey. So, why I wasn't I excited?
I still remember the feeling I had the day I was due to leave, it wasn't happiness, elation, excitement or whatever else you'd expect. It was just nothing. No emotion whatsoever.
That pretty much sums up the kind of person I was before I left for Thailand. So has 3 months of travelling made a difference? Hell yes. Although, not in the ways I expected.
There were a lot of ups and downs, obstacles to overcome, and barriers to break down. But now, sitting here in Da Nang, Vietnam, I'm feeling amazing.
I'm grateful, I'm driven, and most of all... I feel genuinely happy. That's something I haven't been able to say for a long time.

Personally, I've noticed a huge shift in my productivity when I spend 15 minutes a day - 10 at night and 5 in the morning - planning what I'm going to get done.
Not only does it help you visualize the tasks you need to complete that day, it also stops you struggling to decide what to do next. When you have a specific roadmap to follow it makes it much easier to stay focused and productive for much longer.
In this episode of the Life Unlocked podcast, I go through the fundamental points of planning your day, as well as providing some advice on how to remove distractions and improve your discipline.

5 November 2019, 8:56 am - 10 minutes 59 seconds012 - How to Make Friends After You Quit Gaming
One of the biggest problems we hear at Game Quitters is from people struggling to make friends after they quit gaming. It's easy to understand why.
Not only is your entire friendship group exclusively online, but you've also never really developed the confidence or knowledge to make new friends.
As a result, I recorded this episode to try and offer some guidance about what you can do in this situation. It's not easy, and it definitely takes a lot longer than you think to build a strong friendship, but it's so worth it.

What's the difference between a fixed and a growth mindset?
A fixed mindset tells you that where you are is where you are, and there's nothing you can do about it.
A growth mindset says that you can change, learn, adapt, and ultimately grow through your actions alone.
If you aren't feeling happy, you can research how to be happier. If you don't have a lot of energy, you can learn how to have more energy.
It's really that simple.
