Welcome to the LDS/Christian themed episode in our rotation! Today we are tackling the most important gospel concept: The Atonement of Jesus Christ.
Narcissists, even if they are believers, do not understand Atonement and use everyone else around them as their own personal Jesus to expiate their pain, suffering, and unmet emotional needs.
If you have been the scapegoat of someone else's emotional problems, while at the same time being taught at church that The Savior is the one who took upon Himself our pains and afflictions, you might be dealing with some confusion.
If the gospel for you was a set way of living that upheld a specific facade to keep others from judging you, this episode is for you.
The sacred gospel principle of Atonement has been distorted by the narcissists in your life and today we are correcting it.
May you find true peace and feel the love in the Gospel of Jesus Christ as you begin to see beyond the distortions.

Welcome to another Narcissism Recovery Basics episode in our rotation!
Last week was expansive we talked about Owning your Genius. And this week we are covering Part TWO of the Big 3 Emotions that people who have survived narcissists are dealing with.
The first emotion was abandonment. The one we cover today is SHAME. This one is huge and is the root of so many other difficult emotions we experience and we avoid when having had to survive a toxic situation.
Shame must be faced if we are going to go out and create big things. Shame is part of what keeps you, the genius, hiding, it's part of what makes it so your success that you DO create is a miserable experience.
So listen to learn more and to practice some powerful questions you can ask yourself to help you look at the shame so that you can heal the wound and move forward towards your most expansive self.
