After crash-landing the airship in the daggerwood forest, our party finds themselves in a magical red fog with only a handful of survivors. Wanting to come up with an action plan on how to get out of the forest before the fog makes them fall asleep (potentially forever) the party calls the survivors together and forwards an expedition out of the forest to send back help for the other survivors. 

Our party levelled up between this session and the last taking the following subclasses:
Battle Smith Artificer (V1KT0R)
College of Whispers Bard (Vel)
A 2nd level of Warlock (Sid)

Welcome to Sharn!!!

Well, not yet, I suppose. Our story will begin with three adventurers on their way to a modern-day version of Sharn in the campaign setting of Eberron.

This campaign will host a rotating cast of player characters because scheduling is the true BBEG, and Kade has a bunch of friends who have asked to play D&D with him over the years!

Our adventurers for this session are:
A Dragonborn Warlock/Bard named Nessiderok (Sid), who made a literal deal with the devil
A Warforged Artificer named V1KT0R, who is one of the few Warforged surviving the last war purge.
A Changeling Bard named Vel, who has changed their identity so many times, they can't remember who they really are.

In this episode, our adventurers board an Airship bound for the City of Sharn. They encounter Halfling Mobster Pirates with Tommy Guns, an electric elemental powering the airship they stand on, and a whole slew of NPCs to talk to as the party goes down.

Our group of dead souls fight against Hugh Pinkerton as he attempts to steal the will-o-wisp soul of the mortal remains of Eldath in hopes that Hugh can usurp Eldath's place as a god. Talroth becomes the ultimate thorn in Hugh Pinkerton's side, Xel shoves Chai out of the way from mortal danger, Chai gives into unlimited power, and Javi takes a look into the 9 hells.

The party heads into the heart of the Firbolg Fortress to find Hugh Pinkerton and the members of the Falsely Departed mid ritual to return Lady Pinkerton to the Material Plane and to erase Eldath's place as a God. Javi retries a previously failed plan, Xel struggles with the danger associated with this final battle and considers leaving the party to be with Delry in the afterlife, Chai's healing cannot be stopped as she basically negates any damage Hugh tries to deal to the party, and Talroth begins to avenge all of the clone souls of himself as he is prepared to fight to the bitter end with the Lich who captured his soul.

The party continues through the final memory of Chai where they find things seem to be put back in order after taking out the soul anomaly. The party continues through the Falsely Departed Headquarters as they find a room that seems to be dedicated to the death of Javi. The party assists Finn in the fight against a giant Javi bot bringing their own party member's life to an abrupt stop. Chai pulls out her dance moves to avoid being crushed, Xel throws a fork into the situation, Talroth casts smite on a box that may be a mimic, and Javi crushes the image of Hugh Pinkerton in his clutches as the party tries to make it to the Unreaping Ceremony before the sand in the timer runs out.

🔮 The party stumbles through the blinking red light to the lobby area of the Phylactery Factory where they find an Elevator that seems to be going back to the material plane. Talroth finds his soul, Xelborath coaxes his party members away from a sparkly trap, Chai and Javi think they might want to stay in the Phylactery Factory forever, and the party almost gets squashed as they find the next piece of the puzzle that is the Falsely Departed Head Quarters.

⚔️ The battle rages on outside the phylactery factory as Chai, Xel, Javi, and Talroth continue their fight against the group of "SAD" Talroth clones. These clones seem strangely familiar, forcing the party to question the nature of their enemy.

🛡️ Chai steps up to bolster Xel as he witnesses his son being pulled from his afterlife, trying to keep his resolve steady amidst the chaos.

🕷️ Javi lends his spider companion Finn to Xel, hoping it will aid in the tense and emotional situation as the stakes grow higher.

🔔 Talroth takes a long, hard look at the clones of himself and formulates a bold idea. He decides to test out the mysterious "T" Bell the party discovered, convinced it’s linked to the clones in some way.

🔴 The party arrives at the phylactery factory, where a massive red beam of light threatens to alert the entire factory to their presence. The dead adventurers must act fast to avoid detection.
