    Bringing Camp Home; Colossians 3:16-17
Hello listeners!  This message was given on Sunday July 25th, 2021 during our morning worship service at Baymeadows Baptist Church in Jacksonville, FL.  I have not posted this message until now because later that same night, I started feeling very sick.  I had contracted COVID, as well as my wife.  We were very sick for 3 weeks and it hurts me to say that my wife did not survive.  She went home to be with Jesus on Saturday August 14th, 2021, 14 years to the day of our first date.  This has been a horrible time in my and my daughter's life.  We are grieving severely.  We are very grateful that we know that Raquel is in Heaven with Jesus and will never have to deal with sickness ever again.  But we are sad because we miss her dearly.  I feel lost without her.  Our relatives and church family have been very supportive and understanding and we are very grateful for each of them. This was the last message I preached before she passed away.  This is the last message she heard me preach.  And it is a very important message that I pray will motivate you to seek Jesus daily in the Word.  I will be honest, currently I am struggling to read.  I'm struggling to study.  I'm struggling with my calling.  Not because I am questioning God or because I don't trust Him, because I do.  He is either sovereign, or He isn't.  There is no in between.  I'm just so heart broken and my other half is gone.  I have a mortal wound that isn't healing.  I have faith that it will one day...but it's not right now. I did not include the Anchor commercial in this episode, because I just wanted everything to focus on the message.  I feel this is a very important message for the church and I pray it will be an encouragement to you in your walk with the Lord.  Please like, share, and subscribe to help get the message of the Gospel to as many as possible.  I appreciate your support and your prayers.  We covet them.  God bless. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/220-ministries/support

When God doesn't make sense - Habakkuk 3:17-19

This message was given on June 27th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Sunday night service.  Habakkuk is a prophet that is relatively unknown.  When you read Habakkuk, you can see and understand his prayers to God.  "God, are you hearing my prayers?"  "How long will the evil in our society continue?"  "Why is it that it seems evil continues to prosper and the godly continue to suffer?"  Any of those questions sound familiar?  Ever prayed those prayers?  Ever felt that way?  Then I encourage you to listen to this message with an open heart and listening ears, and even a pen and paper.  I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast.  If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience.  Thank you for listening and God bless.

This message was given on June 23rd, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Wednesday night student service.  I was not scheduled to speak this week, and found out that I would be speaking 2 minutes prior to our service starting.  Colossians 3:1-4 was what I had read that day during my devotion time, so that is what I shared that night.  I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast.  If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience.  Thank you for listening and God bless.

The Loving Father - Luke 15:11-32

This message was given on June 16th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Wednesday night student service.  Everyone has heard the "The Parable of the Prodigal Son", however I don't believe that is the best title for the parable.  I think the main character here and the point is "The Loving Father."  This is clearly a picture of how much God loves us, if we are lost in our rebellion or in our religion.  He is a good, good, loving Father who loves us first and took the first step to bring us into reconciliation with Himself.  I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast.  If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience.  Thank you for listening and God bless.

    #lifegoals; Colossians 2:6-10

This message was given on June 6th, 2021 during our Sunday morning worship service.  I was given the opportunity to preach during our graduation service.  This message is for more than high school graduates, this is for all of us as believers and followers of Jesus Christ.  We need to be rooted, built up, and established in the Word in order to grow, withstand the storms, and know the real Gospel in the midst of many counterfeits.  The point of the message is, "Our life goal: Be rooted, built up, and established in Jesus Christ, our Sovereign Savior."  I pray this message is a blessing to you.  Please consider partnering with our ministry by liking, sharing, and subscribing to this podcast.  If you are so inclined, please leave a comment and that will help us spread the good news of the Gospel and help make disciples among the nations.  Thank you and God bless.

James Study: "Faith produces Actions" - Trails produce Maturity, 1:2-8
This message was presented on May 19th, 2021 during our Wednesday night Student service.  This is the second part of our series through James, and it goes right into trials, or tests in our lives.  This is very relevant message for today's society.  Instead of living in victimhood, we should see each test or trial as an opportunity to grow in our maturity in our Christian life.  The point of this message is, "Trials are joy when God is our goal.  So what is your goal?"  I pray this blesses you and you will consider partnering with our ministry by liking, subscribing, and sharing this podcast.  If you have a comment, please share as that helps us get the Gospel out and grow our audience.  Thank you for listening and God bless. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/220-ministries/support

James Study: "Faith produces Actions" - Intro to James; 1:1

This message was given on May 12th, 2021 during our Wednesday Night Student Service.  This is the first of several messages from the book of James and I am excited to start this series.  In this introduction we discuss when the book of James was written, who the author is, why it was written, and why we are going to study this book.  The overall theme for the series is "Faith produces Actions", and the point of this message is, "If James was able to surrender his life to his brother, what is keeping you from fully surrendering to Jesus Christ?"  I pray this is a blessing to you, as well as the remainder of this series. Please consider helping this podcast by liking, subscribing, and sharing, in order to help us spread the Gospel and grow our audience.  God bless you and thank you for listening.

    Share your story; John 4:25-42

This message was given on Sunday May 16th, 2021 at Baymeadows Baptist Church during our Sunday evening service.  This message is an encouragement to believers to share the good news of the Gospel with a lost society.  Jesus reveals Himself to an unnamed Samaritan woman and she immediately goes and tells her entire town about Jesus.  She doesn't allow her past, her inexperience, or the labels that society has put on her to keep her from sharing her story and inviting people to Jesus.  I pray this is an encouraging message to you to have the desire and confidence to share what Jesus did for you with those in your world.  Please consider partnering with the ministry by liking, sharing, subscribing, and giving a review on iTunes.  I appreciate your support and your willingness to help me share the Gospel with the world.  God bless.
