- 24 minutes 50 secondsHer Story Didn't End in Prison: Jodi Jenkins' Story (Part 1)
Prison wasn't the end of her story. Addiction can begin with what we see on the outside—but behind it, there is often a deeper story of pain, trauma, loneliness, rejection, or abandonment. Jenny's guest, Jodi White Jenkins, "Behind the Walls Program Manager" at FOCUS Ministries, knows that pain personally. Her struggle with drug and alcohol addiction eventually led to a prison sentence. But God was still writing her story. Jodi shares how Jesus met her in the brokenness, changed her heart, and gave her a new life. Today, the very places that once held so much pain have become part of the story God is using to bring hope to other women. This is a powerful story of redemption, freedom, and the truth that our past does not have to have the final word. "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Cor 5:17. Jodi shares her remarkable journey from addiction and incarceration to a life transformed by Jesus. If you know someone who needs to be reminded that there is hope and no life is beyond the reach of God's grace, share this with them.
