Caroline Glaser performs as Brother Bird and has become an established touring artist as well as member of the ever growing MO freak show Family.  We’ve toured together many times and I’ve seen her kill it many times.  She has crazy good voice and its impressive how she came from the NBC “The Voice” background and developed her own sound and songs.  I had a great time sitting down with her at the awesome Big Trouble Records and talking! Kraig is the owner of Hop City as well as Barley Garden and his newest restaurant called Boxcar. Even with all that on his plate he’s always got a smile on his face! He is also largely responsible for the Sweetwater and Manchester Orchestra collaboration on “ The Gold” beer we brewed together for Charity last year.

Bryan is the Executive Director of Giving Kitchen. Growing up in a food family has given him a real connection to this world and it’s obvious why Bryan is the right man for the job. It was a blast to finally get a chance to sit down and talk with Scott Fuller. He’s been making a lot of waves in the graphic design world with his work showing up in a lot of places. I knew I had to have him design a logo for me and after a few conversations on the phone I realized Scott has a lot to say and I had to do a podcast with him. He like so many others I’ve interviewed had to dig down deep and really evaluate who he was and what he wanted to accomplish. Now I smile every time I see some of his work around Atl. It only makes sense that Anita would be our first episode. After all she’s been instrumental in this podcast existing at all. As you will hear Anita is instantly easy to like. She’s managed to keep a cheerful attitude in an industry that doesn’t always have time to be “Nice.”

She’s no stranger to hard work and sacrifice but she’s found her purpose and community in her family and the food world. She’s now using her success to do good in her own community. I’m very grateful to have met Anita and her family and to see what their hard work has accomplished.
