There is frankly too much fluff in the personal development world. There are too many people teaching things they don’t do.

• Leadership coaches who can’t lead.
• Real estate gurus who don’t own real estate.
• “Positive thinking” coaches who are cranky.

I think it’s critical for a teacher to DO what they teach.

When you are YOU, the real you, you’re bound to get some criticism. When you write that bestseller, you’re going to get a few 1–star reviews. When you launch your show, you’re probably going to get some negative comments.

The good news is, the criticism is not about you. It never is. And the faster you get that embedded into your grey matter, the faster you will be free.

Prayer is Partnering with God to Get Things Done.

Think about it like this. Every form of human communication is designed to get things done. Your loving conversations with a spouse are going somewhere. Your mentoring conversions with your kids are going somewhere. Shoot...when you tell your dog to “sit” it’s going somewhere.

Prayer is no different. 

To put it this way: God created the world and He created you. He wants the world to get better and he wants you to have a BIG part in that process.

You’d think fighter pilots would have a lot of rules. But even with all the training sessions, manuals, and checklists, there is really only just one rule: Don’t Screw It Up. That’s pretty much it. Looking cool is optional. So is talking cool.

Whatever you do...just...Don’t...Screw…It...Up.

To be Blunt: over the next 3 and a half years, the world (and especially the United States) is going to go through a change so dramatic that 1776 will PALE in comparison. And if you look closely, you can see it happening everywhere.

The Revolution can be simply stated as: The Revolt of the Little Guy.

Now I know that verbiage sounds harsh. Between us, I mean it to sound that way. That’s because there is literally nothing more important than being a master of your thoughts. Everything good starts with how you think...and certainly everything bad starts there too. Have you ever wondered why some people can be so happy even in bad circumstances? It’s all in the mind.

The faster you learn to control your thinking, the faster you’ll be onto changing the world.

Simply put: the fastest way to think well is to be around people who think like you want to think.

Everything you were taught about Goal Setting is wrong.

You have been told to set “SMART Goals.” (Specific, Measurable, Achievable, Relevant, and Time-Bound.)

Yeah, that’s a bunch of baloney.

No offense to any Star Trek fans, but Space isn’t the Final Frontier.

According to a recent study, over 200 Million people want to write a book (in the U.S. alone). But last year only 304,000 books were published. That’s 191,695,000 people who didn’t get it done. Why not make this the year you jump into the 1%.

WHAT a year. I know 2020 was a whirlwind, so I thought I would take a moment this week to encapsulate some of the biggest changes that happened this year.

That way, you can launch into 2021 like an F-18 from an aircraft carrier.

Just remember: where there is a massive change, there is massive opportunity.
