Today we talk about a variety of animal mental health issues in the veterinary field including depression, obsessive compulsive disorder and anxiety. We spend most of our time on anxiety and talk a little about the how we have looked at animal mental health over the last few decades.

On this weeks episode we talk about Foxtails. No not the cute cuddly little creature, but the terrible annoying weed that grows and causes tons of problems in your animals paws, ears and more.

This week we take on the big report that was dropped by the FDA regarding grain free dog foods. The report hit the pet owner world and we see that it raised more questions than anything else. So we look at the history of grain free diets and try to best explain why people started feeding their pets grain free diets in the first place. Then Amanda gives her expert opinion on grain free diets and her thoughts on what you should do when deciding on a food for your dog.
