Hi Friends,

This episode was pure magic — lively, surprising, and full of humour. From the very beginning, Sydney’s garden joined the conversation, chiming in with its own personality and timing, while the fungi at her new home had plenty to say as well. The night before recording, the garden featured in her book I, Garden actually “arrived” and asked that we open the episode with them.

What made this moment even more intriguing was how close it came on the heels of her other book, Becoming Written, as if the two works were in dialogue with one another.

And then the fungi piped up. Loudly. It was absolutely hilarious — the shift in my voice as the plants and fungi began speaking, the way they wove themselves into the discussion, and Sydney’s brilliant, good-humoured responses made it all feel alive in the most unexpected way. In a sense, the plants from her books were interviewing Sydney, posing questions that genuinely felt as though they came from them.

We’re sure you’ll feel the joy threaded through this conversation. It’s heart-open, playful, and full of an all-pervading sense of delight. We loved recording it, and we hope that same spark finds you as you listen.

We were so excited to have Sammy Vanek on our podcast, author of 'The Last Self Help Book', who is working on his next book in collaboration with trees.

This is a truly remarkable podcast, with an Elder Tree that Isis, Ganesh and the team work with and messages from the ocean, trees that Sammy co-creates with discussing the interconnected fiscal nature of biophysics, physics, how our nervous system and circulatory system are integral for fiscal wellbeing, yet so much more.

The fungi also made many appearances during this video, as did Lord Ganesh, pippies and other nature spirits.

There is so much that we are in tune with a nature-flow, yet so little is understood in relation to the depth that we are interconnected. We all too often forget that everything is pure energy; therefore, nothing can truly be separated. The only thing that separates us is our perceptions until we remind ourselves that all simply IS.

In regards to the moment when I shared the joy of having a book in our hands to read, and felt a fear around this, it was nature’s awareness that it is still plundered without consent and in this depleted faster than it is currently able to regenerate, with a growing human population, we have the opportunity to reconnect, open ourselves to be present and listen to the language that nature is currently choosing to share. 

In this, we are informed of a new and important paradigm shift; therefore, we hope that our choices are those of being in harmony with nature.❤️

I am so excited to share our wonderful guest, Sydney Kale, author of 'The Love Language Of Plants,' who is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Wisdom Studies from Ubiquity University, with an academic focus on plant intelligence, phenomenology, and co-authorship with plants and the more-than-human. In 2021, Sydney completed an M.S. in Environmental Studies and Sustainability from Unity College. And in 2023, I completed an M.A. in Movement, Mind, and Ecology from Schumacher College.

We explore the questions that nature itself poses during this podcast, offering insightful responses with a sense of playfulness and a keen awareness of the intricacies of nature. These are the same intricacies that we, as humans, reflect when we allow ourselves to simply be, opening up to a communicative nature that actively shares its story as the elders of our world and the worlds we each inhabit.

This video podcast was a beautiful surprise as it came directly from nature in the we hours of this morning, a beautiful start to the month of December🥳.

When I started to record, I had no idea what would be shared, but as I listened to the replay I felt the love of nature, the interconnectivity and the beautiful mantra nature chose to use in this podcast which is 'Om Mani Pad Me Hum' meaning the 'Jewel Within The Lotus.' It is a soothing, nurturing and nourishing podcast ( at least it was definitely that for me)❤️. It took a few nano seconds to completely let go as nature sang, spoke and streamed, so the first few seconds you may notice a slight or subtle difference and then she streams effortlessly.

I was also beautifully surprised that nature sang throughout by voice and in vibration. We trust you will attune in your own unique beautiful wondrous way connected as your being and dancing in pure heartfelt delight.🥳🙏🏾❤️.
