In this episode, we continue our discussion of HERALD. Specifically, in this episode we begin ( L ) Loving the Church. 

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind. This is the great and first commandment” (Matthew 22:37–38). To love God with all we are requires not just our affections of heart and soul, but also our actions. The Christian life is not to be one of knowledge, emotion, or action alone. The Adoration of God causes us to worship, adore, and act in all of life for His glory!

After a long Summer hiatus, we return to continue discussing our philosophy of ministry (HERALD) looking in this episode at reconciliation our ministry on earth.   

This episode is a conversation between the elders about how to work through differences in desire for and function in ministry as husband and wife.  It is a bonus episode that occured during our recording of the Herald Series! 

This episode is the continued discussion on Equipping the Saints for the work of ministry. This second episode focuses on the work of the saints together in the work of the ministry. 

Ephesians 4:11–16 (ESV) — 11 And he gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the shepherds and teachers, 12 to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, 13 until we all attain to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to mature manhood, to the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, 14 so that we may no longer be children, tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes. 15 Rather, speaking the truth in love, we are to grow up in every way into him who is the head, into Christ, 16 from whom the whole body, joined and held together by every joint with which it is equipped, when each part is working properly, makes the body grow so that it builds itself up in love.
