    PERFECTIONISM.

Hi, my name is Jacq, and I’m a recovering perfectionist. The thing with perfectionism is that the more you chase it, the less you achieve. Perfectionism is rooted in fear and is a form of self-abuse.

It’s time to rewire those tendencies toward perfectionism. Today on the podcast, we’re going to talk about why I don’t believe in setting goals, rather, I believe the magic happens in setting intentions. We’re also going to dive deep and think about the things you haven’t done and the actions you haven’t taken all because you were afraid you weren’t good enough.

Can you give yourself permission to take a chance? Let’s explore that LINE x LINE.

    COMPARISON.

You don’t have as many Instagram followers as your friends. You didn’t get a promotion but someone younger did. Whatever that touchy point is for you, know that we all compare ourselves to others from time to time. The trick is being able to reframe your ideas around success.

Join me this week for some guided journaling on what comparison means in your life. I will never tell you not to compare – we’re human, we all do it. How can we compare in a healthy way? Tune in.

    EXPECTATIONS.

We all have expectations. The fact that we have individual expectations means that disappointment from others is inevitable.

This week, Jacq invites you to journal and reflect on what expectations you hold and how you can change your attitude to better reframe. The beauty of this exercise is that you can grab a journal and write or reflect as you listen.

    TRUST.

There are moments when you look up and realize you’ve been outsourcing decisions and neglecting your intuition. Moments when you hit a wall. For Jacq, that was the moment she found herself in with the podcast last spring. Her typical response would have been to push through the burnout, force the situation and make something happen. But 2020 brought an opportunity to try a different approach, to trust that the resistance was there for a reason. It brought a chance to step back and wait to feel the pull to begin another season.

And here we are, back with a new name and new format for Season 3. Welcome to LINE x LINE.

Each episode will feature just Jacq. They’ll be short, 10 to 15 minutes each and interactive, inviting you to participate in one of the foundational practices of the Your Inner Babe method . This week’s theme is TRUST. Are you ready?

    Reconnection is Greater Than COVID-19

Right now, it feels as though the world is crashing down around us. We want to put on a brave face because we know that through the panic and fear, things will eventually go back to normal. But sometimes that brave face gets in the way of true connection.

This was a difficult decision for me but I’ve decided to end this season of Set That B*tch Free and pivot to a new season – a season where I share more of myself with you, struggles and all. There is power in vulnerability and that’s what I want to show you. In the meantime, I’m offering 15 minute coaching calls if you need guidance during this tough time, with all the proceeds going to help businesses in need.

Stay tuned for magical things to come.

    • [00:15] - Time out for being
    • [07:52] - Through the lens of the heart
    • [12:09] - Being gentle to myself
