Virtual Reality is now accessible to more people but not as accessible as Augmented Reality. If you've used Snapchat or played Pokemon Go you're already familiar with this technology. In the near future, XR will be a normal part of our lives which will also integrate with Blockchain gaming. Coupled with cryptocurrency, this technology will allow us to create, earn, and live in ways we never imagined.

In this episode of Live & Learn we have an enlightening conversation with the multitalented Vondell Richmond. He's a public speaker, business coach, city councilman, actor, author, ordained minister and has even made a movie. One of my favorite interviews thus far, I learned a bunch and really resonated with many of the things we talked about. Unfortunately we had some technical difficulties so didn't get the full interview but there's a ton of value jammed packed into this episode. 

He talks about his first "LEarn" experience (which happened back in the day) where he was able to trade something of value for knowledge & experience that ended up getting his script into film. We talk about 3 different mentors in our lives, up mentor, peer mentor, and down mentor and I really love the way he breaks it down & explains who each of those is. Also, finding your why. Which is actually a simple question you ask yourself. 

So Vondell has a wealth of knowledge in many areas and we only scratched the surface here. I hope you enjoy this episode as much as I did.

In this episode of Live & Learn we talk with Rich & Cecil the owners of Waterdogs Scuba and Safety about some of the myths surrounding scuba diving.  Many of those myths I believed myself and have been intimidated by but was put at ease once some of the myths were busted! We talk about how movies give a bad rep to sharks, how deep one can actually dive, their most extravagant dive to date with WWII aircraft and ships, and future plans to visit the Galapagos.

I absolutely love what they are doing being an artist myself!! We talk about how they "broke" in their new trailer at their latest event "The Chalk Walk", helping people find their passion through the arts whether that be music, dance, sports, etc, building community through collaboration, and how to become involved with their organization. 

In this episode of Live & Learn we talk with the super awesome Tiffany Hilliker, the owner of Hoops & High Notes. I really enjoyed this episode and learned a bunch! We talk all about how Hulu Hooping is the gateway drug to physical fitness, why bigger is indeed better when It comes to hoops, how hooping is another extension of the creative process similar to dancing and music, and a new podcast that her and her best friend Michelle will be launching called creative Clarksville. 

Lisa Ruiz is the founder and owner of Brand My Swag in Clarksville, TN. It was really interesting for me to hear her story because we both have the same background when it comes to the printing and promotional world.  In this episode of Live & Learn we find out the true meaning of the name Brand My Swag, how she’s partnering with an all in one e-commerce & SEO platform, working from home & finally quitting her job to go all in with Brand My Swag, and the motivation that kept her going and staying in business for 20 years and counting.
