The lads start the pod with Jack discussing his decision to drop into semi-pro football for the first time in his career and why the transition has been much easier than anticipated. Jack then talks the lads through his early life in football playing for Sheffield Wednesday, tough tackles from David Prutton and having imposter syndrome when playing for the first team. The trio then chat in depth about the difficulties young players face when adapting to men's football, why the lower leagues are tougher than people think and do academy players carry too much ego? They then chat about Jack's time at Oldham and why despite being close off the pitch they couldn't make it work on the pitch and the feeling of suffering relegations and turmoil times at both Oldham & Torquay. The lads then discuss how Jack found his love for the game whilst playing non-league for both Matlock & Buxton, the challenges that came with playing in the National League North and why he isn't closing the door on full time football.
