Thanks to the #MeToo movement we've seen Hollywood get its fair share of comeupance but misogyny still exists everywhere including the world of animation. It isn't hard to think back nearly a century ago and think about how women were treated differently than women, but what are we doing now to create equality? Are we doing enough? 

Child actors seem to go through hard times more often than not and that includes Disney tv and film stars dating all the way back to the 1940s and its happening in a totally different way in the age of social media, but how can we help?

Disney theme park popcorn buckets, like many collectibles, have become a commodity of an online black market, run on sites like Ebay and social media. 

Lots of stories circulate about Walt Disney, but why do we tell them and better yet, why do we believe them? What does it say about Walt Disney and what does it say about us?
