Christian Scott's best start of the year and some pop from Jared Young and Luis Torrens, fueled the New York Mets shutout of the San Diego Padres, 5-0.

The Mets carried the win from the finale against the Seattle Mariners and put together a complete game in the opener of this series. Scott gave the Mets 5.2 scoreless innings of work, for his third straight solid outing. 

Offensively, the bats were able to provide the pop. Jared Young and Luis Torrens each went yard, and against this lowly Padres offense, that would have been enough. A Bo Bichette triple and a Brett Baty single also added a pair of runs.

Bo Bichette had his first four hit game as a New York Met and the Mets were able to leave Seattle with a 7-1 win over the Mariners. 

It was a nice bounce back for the Mets in all facets of their game. The bats had a big day, headlined by Bichette's four hits. Although, AJ Ewing's first three-hit game as a pro shouldn't go unmentioned. 

Pitching wise, Freddy Peralta was the stopper that the Mets needed. He battled through six innings, allowing just one earned run. Behind him, the defense turned a pair of key double plays to help Peralta through trouble.

The New York Mets played a mistake fueled game and served up some home runs in an 8-3 to the Seattle Mariners. 

Homers were the name of the game tonight, with the Mets giving up three of them to account for 6 of the Mariners 8 runs. For the Mets, their entire offense was homers. Carson Benge had the first multi home-run game of his career and was responsible for all three of the Mets runs. 

It was also a rough night defensively for the Mets, as a pair of errors led to a run in the 3rd. 

Jonah Tong got the bulk off the work tonight for New York but was only able to get through 3.1 innings, never really able to settle into his outing. 

It's back to back losses for the Mets, who send Freddy Peralta to the mound tomorrow afternoon to try and avoid the sweep.

The New York Mets played their 12th extra inning game of the season, but fell to the Seattle Mariners, 3-2.

This game was a pitcher's duel, with the only runs being scored off of solo home runs (4 of them, in fact). Sean Manaea looked really solid in his five innings of work as the bulk reliever.

Brooks Raley, however, allowed the game-tying home run off the bat of Josh Naylor in the 7th. Both teams were held scoreless through the remainder of the 9 innings and we were off to extras.

The Mets were unable to move the ghost runner over, let alone score a run in extras and that set the stage for Colt Young to walk it off for the Mariners in the 10th to snap the Mets four game winning streak.

The New York Mets had ANOTHER great day with the bats to finish off a sweep of the Miami Marlins, winning 10-1. 

9 of the 10 runs the Mets scored this afternoon came with two-outs, none bigger than the 4 on Juan Soto's 13th home run of the season, the Mets first grand slam of 2026. 

Nolan McLean got the start and while the results were much better, it was still a struggle for the Mets right-hander. He had to navigate his way around five walks, and managed to only allow one run. 

David Peterson looked good in the bullpen, finishing off the game and earning his first save of 2026.

That makes it four in a row now for the Mets, who have a quick turnaround before starting a three game series in Seattle tomorrow night.
