It is still an unknown as to how it could be implemented successfully within the US, but Travis says that his book Fighting for Space could be used as a how to guide for this harm reduction approach toward the overdose epidemic.

He became a Core CCAR trainer in 2017 and is currently training CCAR coaches and trainers in the West.

Angelo Lagares is a certified recovery support specialist and recovery coach and the founder and managing director of Latino Recovery Latino Advocacy. (LARA) Latino Recovery Advocacy is a grassroots advocacy movement that is changing lives by removing language barriers for the Latino community and sharing the message of recovery. We speak recovery and advocate for language accessibility.
By working closely with people in recovery, their families, recovery community organizations, treatment providers, and other advocacy groups, LARA is dedicated to ensuring that people affected by addiction do not encounter language barriers.
