We run through the big headlines from the week including Treasurethe Moment’s defeat as a hot favourite, Godolphin’s resurgence at the elite level, and the Doncaster weight allotted to Autumn Glow - fair rating or hype tax?

At Randwick we break down the Guy Walter Stakes and try to find a bet in a tricky market, debate whether Tempted can turn a dominant first-up win into a maiden Group One in the Surround Stakes, and assess whether the short-priced favourite in the Verry Elleegant Stakes is simply a put-in take-out job given the trainer’s extraordinary record in the race.
