I don’t want to be a leader?” Is what a client informed me as he expressed that he wanted to transition to become a FT business owner. I asked, “Business owners are leaders!”. His perception of what came with leadership was missing many aspects.
What does leadership look like to you? It’s more than the checks, nice office, clients or whatever you envision. It's relational management, conflict, empathy, and much more. There are some unseen aspects that might not seem important but it comes with the territory.
