Hi, I'm Jameel Shivji, and I love understanding people's stories. Welcome to Cast Aside Podcast, where we share untold stories from the Entertainment Industry through the lenses of diversity, stereotypes, gender inequality, and child actor perceptions.
Why me? Well, I'm a professional actor and aspiring screenwriter who has been working in the Entertainment Industry for five years. After spending the first 12 years of my life in the Silicon Valley, where my only exposure to the Entertainment Industry was the hours I spent watching Dan Schneiders' shows, I moved to Los Angeles and started working as a professional actor. My raw passions drove me to Hollywood, and my experiences here have driven me to create this podcast. Welcome to Cast Aside podcast, where I give every human, issue, and struggle a voice.
