Her collection of poems explore the journey from abandonment and loneliness to forgiveness and ultimately, self-love. We discussed her book and the meaning behind the title, the stigma behind the term "Daddy issues" and how it is associated mostly with women, also self-love and how someone can learn to love themselves in spite of pain. Hey Koffee Mates this week we did the show a little different ( notice I say that a lot lol, Oh well), we did a transparency episode. We talked about the alleged Trey Songz sex tape ( yea y'all can have that), and the rest was us just venting. Kartel started off by just having a bad day that lead to us just being real open out our life situations, and talkin about our friendship. As we get older we definitely are aware we can grow apart and may not have everything in common, but we also know it's important for us to communicate when we are feeling away in our friendship. We talked about the Capitol invasion (Whypipo just mad) and how it's just crazy because just a few months ago, we tried to peacefully protest for our rights to be black in America and we get killed. We also touched on the Kim and Kanye divorce..... I mean if y'all didn't, we knew it was bound to happen. We also talked. about how 2020 was just a year for really finding yourself and surviving.
