Our podcast is about Murders and mayhem in Michigan, we will go through the cities, lakes, swamps and generally the back 40 all over the Great Lakes State discussing a plethora of murders. Our stories will not contain any part of the victims side, but we will definitely be mocking the Murderer. Music brought us together, Roger that! So we will end each story with a little local music leaving you with a happy ending and on a good note!
This episode of Michigan Murders & Music takes listeners on another dark true‑crime road trip through Michigan, focusing on the case involving Brad Srebnik and Joshua Wirgau. The hosts explore the events surrounding the crime with their signature approach: keeping the spotlight on the perpetrators while honoring the victims by avoiding sensationalism. The storytelling blends grim details with thoughtful commentary, maintaining the show’s balance of seriousness and accessibility.
As always, the episode concludes with a musical feature — this time highlighting the Detroit-based band Electric Bug, including links to their Bandcamp and YouTube pages. The music serves as a tonal shift, offering a reflective or uplifting close after the heavy true‑crime narrative.
