This episode might sting a bit – well, if you have entered into agreements with service providers upon which you have defaulted, ghosted, or even felt justified to stop making your payments – it’s definitely going to sting.  But, as we round of this Financial Literacy Month, it has to be said: you will reap what you have sown.  After being in business for 16years, I have definitely experienced my share of defaulting clients – for one reason or another and while, when a client ghosts or acts like a thief, I treat them like one, I have always wanted to have the conversation I am about to have with you.  As a policy, when clients are honest, open and transparent, we work with them but when they don’t, well…See, those who do this think that they are hurting the service provider – but they’re actually hurting themselves.  Sure, there may appear to be short lived “success”, but I promise you it’s a FRACTION of what you would receive if you honored the agreement and operated in integrity.    

There’s a lot of talk about becoming wealthy and experiencing financial abundance so I am taking it upon myself to set the record straight – your financial abundance will be delayed if you do not honor your obligations. “What goes around comes around; for every cause there is an effect; you will reap what you sow,”  each of these phrases aren’t just cute and trite things to say, there are principles that govern our universe.

I have to be honest – I love to talk about money; but, it wasn’t always this way.  From growing up without it, to have my savings stolen in my teens, to massive credit card debt and bankruptcy before becoming a millionaire and 7-figure CEO, I have experienced every emotion and challenge that comes when you don’t understand money. Once I finally got the revelation, I vowed to God that I would use my knowledge and platform to teach others how to relate to money in a way that walks them boldly into their abundant birthright. About Our Guest:
Teri Ijeoma began her professional career working in education and non-profits. When she started trading stocks 13 years ago, she initially saw it as an opportunity to supplement her income. However, she was so successful with this side hustle that in 2017, she decided to quit her job, travel the world, and begin trading full-time. While traveling, Teri was constantly asked to show others how she was successfully trading in the stock market. She set up and taught her first class in Thailand, her second in Vietnam, and had a fully-fledged curriculum created by the time she returned to the States. Teri now offers an online curriculum that shares her investing strategies with people all over the world. She also partners with organizations and companies to train and empower individuals to achieve financial freedom and build wealth through investing.

Teri received her bachelor's degree in Management Science from Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and her masters in Media and Communication from Dallas Theological Seminary. She was named 2018 Entrepreneur of the Year by National Black MBA Association, and was the Grand Champion of Teachable's 2019 Creator Challenge.
