    Episode 21 - You Have To Help Yourself
    In today’s episode I get REAL with you. I share something that I haven’t shared publicly.

    I share with you a little bit about my week and how I chose to get myself out of my ego mind.

    We have the ability to change our mindset minute by minute. We can have transformation in our day.

    Life is not like the movie Aladdin. We don't just get our wishes granted. We have to put in the effort when it comes to what we envision in our day and in our life. This is the way co-creation works.

    Whatever your goals are in health, relationships, personal growth, etc. you can’t sit in this space of feeling sorry for yourself. It doesn’t help. You have to help yourself.

    We all have things inside of us that are ready to come out whether that’s a certain habit or something you want to release in your relationship.

    You hold the power inside of you. The more that you go exploring the more you are going to receive, but you have to be willing to want to make that change.

    Episode 20 - Why You Feel Stuck
    In today’s episode I discuss why we feel stuck in life and how we are using our primary source, our brain (ego) with decisions and choices instead of our secondary source, our heart (pureness).

    I discuss how the subconscious mind forms our thoughts and beliefs at a young age which is why we make certain decisions or avoid our pain based upon how we were taught from society.

    I give tips on how to start living from this secondary source of power (heart) and bringing it to the forefront as the primary source of power.

    Episode 19 - Clarity Starts In Your Gut
    In this episode I talk about the importance of exploring the love we have for ourselves. If you take away being a mother, or a spouse and you are only left with yourself is that enough?

    Are you listening to what it is that will make you happy?

    Do you even know what that is?

    How do we begin to rewrite our stories if we feel stuck?

    If we don’t have clarity we will continue to feel stuck. This is where our physical body becomes so important.

    I talk about how we can enhance our energy and vitality by listening not only to our gut and intuition, but how our physical gut can impact the way our brain functions.

    I talk about our microbiome, leaky gut and how if it is out of balance it can affect the way we use our brain, which can impact our emotions and the way we feel about ourselves.

    You can add things like aloe vera or a very high quality probiotic to begin to help restore the gut.

    Episode 18 - What Is Trauma & Why It's Not A Bad Thing
    In this episode I talk about what trauma is and the difference between Big T’ Trauma and little t’ trauma.

    If it’s not processed, whether it be Big T or little T, it impacts the way we live our lives and the self beliefs we have that can ultimately be passed down to our children.

    We can’t control what happened to us and the way we were raised, but we can control how we choose to use the trauma that we faced in our younger years. We can either sit in it and let is effect our life and those we love, or we can dive in and start to unravel our own thoughts and patterns that we know don’t serve us.

    Maybe there is a little t’ trauma that is effecting you.

    It’s about asking yourself questions like:

    Why do you think this situation triggered you?

    How did you react vs. how you wanted to react?

    We need to own our truth, own our pain if we want to evolve. We can start to generationally change the world, by helping ourselves.

    Episode 14 - How You Can Improve Your Health
    In today’s episode I talk about how to improve your HEALTH.

    I give a little background on my health journey and how my perception of my health has changed throughout my spiritual journey.

    HEAL is in the word health and I break down the word heal into an acronym that goes hand in hand with our health journey.

    *Honor

    *Explore

    *Ask

    *Listen

    With each of these words, I go into detail about how they can be intertwined with our health.

    I provide a visual tool that you can use to help evaluate where you are along your health journey and how this tool can be used throughout your life for self improvement.

    In a circle you draw, cut this into 8 sections.

    On each line in your circle write the following:

    Spirituality
    Marriage/Partnership
    Home Environment
    Physical Activity
    Nutrition
    Creativity
    Friendships
    Motherhood

    You can do a self evaluation by rating each of these areas within that circle by placing a dot on each line. You will connect all the dots together with a line. The closer a dot is to the center of the circle, the more improvement is needed in this area. The goal is to focus on one area at a time. By doing this, it allows less overwhelm and more focus on areas in our life we want to improve.

    When you re evaluate after working on one of these specific areas, your dot should be further out to the edge of the circle.

    I share some personal history about how I used to view my body even when I began to dive more into my spirituality and before I had a baby.

    It’s time to start shifting the way we look at our bodies post birth. Our body is magical and it’s time we start treating it that way.

    I talk about some tools we can use to help not only view our bodies differently, but how it is going to impact our children for the better when they begin to ask questions about themselves.

    Body image is a very hot topic, but if we can start changing the conversation around it we can be a positive example for our children.

    Episode 12 - Shame and Motherhood - Learning How To Dance
    In today’s episodes I talk about a book I am reading and how much of an eye opener it has been for me my second time around.

    I talk about the difference between guilt and shame.

    I give an example of how I was feeling shame around my 5 month old not rolling over yet.

    Mothers are so hard on themselves when it comes to parenting. We can’t avoid our feelings because we are human. We can learn tools to dance with those feelings to come out on the other side.

    We can:

    1. Recognize and acknowledge
    2. Talk To Someone you can trust WITHOUT judgement
    3. Give Yourself Internal Praise
