Today we’re trying something a little different.  For a long time, we’ve been talking about the Hollywood stock we’ve bought, how it turned out, and whose future we’d invest in today.  Our inescapable hubris made us believe you’d like to hear that conversation, so HERE IT IS!  You’re gonna hear names like Skeet Ulrich and James Purefoy (busts), Rosario Dawson and Anna Kendrick (stocks we’ll never sell), and Anya Taylor-Joy and Jonathan Majors (blue chip, first round picks).  This episode is essentially a long list (although we had hundreds more) of people we love, no matter what category they’re in.  Get ready for a dose of nostalgia for those we love, sadness for those who don’t seem to be coming back, hope for the return of old favorites, and giddy optimism for the next generation.  Also, you’ll get to follow the results of our futures draft!!

“Wax on, wax off”.....We bring you the quintessential film about karate in the Valley, "The Karate Kid".  This is one of our all-time favorites and we get into the entire Karate Kid universe and answer questions like “Should Aly have been with either of them?”, “Was the crane kick legal?”, “Did Mr. Miyagi secretly hate Daniel?” and so much more.  Jedd gives us his thoughts on the many Karate Kid pretenders, Cole argues about how blonde hair kept William Zabka from being the biggest movie star in the world, and another installment of “The McConaughey Minute”.

"Tonight we're not thinking -- just doing."  Let's travel back to the 80's to celebrate this film that was made in 2007 but released in 2011!  We feel this gem went under the radar and judging by the box office we're not wrong.  Join us as we cover all things Fogler, Grace, Faris and Pratt.  We love an homage when it's done right and this film gets it right.  All the way down to the "boyeeee" dance battle.  The soundtrack is also rad. If you're a fan of '80s movies or a fan of laughing or just looking for something to do while you hold GME all the way to the moon, then you'll for sure enjoy this one.  See you at Suncoast.

This week was the much-anticipated release of David Fincher’s new film “Mank”. Jedd gave it a 9.4/10 and Cole gave it a 9/10, so it’s safe to say we loved it. We get into our first impressions of this remarkable love letter to old Hollywood and the masterpiece “Citizen Kane”. It’s gorgeous, poignant, funny, and unveils the true origin of the Cigarette Burns name.

"THE WHOLE WORLD IS WATCHING!!"  - Jedd is back and we do a quick burn on one of the most anticipated movies of the year, Aaron Sorkin's Trial of the Chicago 7.  This is a fascinating look at one of the most important moments in modern history as it moves back and forth between the events that led to the protest and riots of the 1968 Democratic National Convention in Chicago and the bizarre trial that followed.  We loved it, but as with all things, we've got takes.  Jedd - 7.8/10  Cole - 8/10
