Republicans are struggling, and Democrats are surging.  No, the Democrats haven't changed and are as extreme as ever.  However, Democrat enthusiasm is off the charts... motivated by President Trump.  If the situation doesn't change quickly, it could be bad news for the House and Senate.

A new poll shows Democrats leading Republicans solidly in the enthusiasm category.  Republicans are also showing cracks in their support of President Trump on certain issues.

Meta, the parent company of Facebook, was hit with a major court ruling which opens the door for future lawsuits involving the company's liability for not safeguarding children from its social media platforms.

Meta and other social media companies have conducted studies which show the addictive nature of their platforms on children.  And yet, not only were the reports ignored, but algorithms were developed to exploit the addiction.

Poll after poll shows things are not looking good for Republicans heading into the 2026 midterm elections.  The party in power always has a hard time during the midterms, but with a slight majority in the Senate and a razor-thin majority in the House, Republicans don't have much room to maneuver.

The American people are against the war with Iran and many MAGA voters are frustrated with lack of results from Republicans.  What will happen?

President Trump has called on Senate Majority Leader John Thune to exert some leadership regarding the SAVE America Act.  This legislation focuses on election integrity, specifically on voter registration and casting ballots.

With the SAVE America Act, proof of citizenship would have to be shown in order to register to vote.  In addition, a valid, photo ID would be required in order to cast a ballot.  The measure has been stalled in the Senate

Public opinion polls are now out, and the American people are solidly against the America-Israel war against Iran.  The level of negative feelings depends on the polling organization, but no current poll shows Americans in support of the war.

The Trump administration is also facing blowback from a girls school in Iran that was bombed, resulting in 170 fatalities, most of those being children.  Trump said that the Iran military bombed the school.

American and Israeli forces launched attacks against Iranian targets, while President Trump announced that Iran poses an imminent threat to the people of the United States.  In an address to the nation, Trump said Iran must never have a nuclear weapon.

Some 240 million gallons of raw sewage have been dumped into the Potomac River in Washington, DC thanks to a collapsed pipe and the incompetent DC Water utility.  The leadership of DC Water has shown over and over again that their priority is not doing a good job, but ensuring the "right" color of its employees.

DC Water is a woke, DEI failure.  The Chairman of the Board, Unique Morris-Hughes had no utility experience before getting hired.  The DC Water Director, David Gadis, was also involved in the Flint, Michigan water disaster.

Scores of high school and junior high students have walked out of class in order to protest ICE operations around the country.  So many schools cannot teach students how to read or write, but these schools are quite skilled in molding the students into leftwing activists.

Our school system is supposed to be about education, not indoctrination.  These kids should be learning to read and write.  They can protest on their own time.
