Journaling in your target language is a great way to gain vocabulary and reading and writing skills in your target language.  Try out journaling with a notebook and pen.  Start slow, and write simple phrases using the words, and grammar that you are studying. Each day add a little more. Before long your language skills will be improving and you will have a journal written in your target language to document your progress in language learning.
