Tonight, we are going to be talking about limiting beliefs. What are limiting beliefs you ask? A limiting belief is a belief that you have about yourself that hinders your ability to achieve any goal. The tough thing about limiting beliefs is that many times we are not consciously aware of them. It is sitting in the back of your mind. If you have the wherewithal to recognize what it is, you need to write it down and work on it. Do not let where you come from determine where you are going!

EP15: Being Real, Post-Show Weight Gain, and the “My Way or the Highway” Mindset

As individuals, we form our own ideas about people based on their social media. That’s why it is so important to be as real as possible whether you are online or offline. When you’re real, people know exactly what they’re going to get when they enter your life. This can help you avoid surrounding yourself with the wrong people and getting into the wrong relationships. Having the the right people in your life is vital because you need people to support you when you’re having self-confidence issues or when you’re training for a show or for any number of reasons. Remember, stay away from the cookie cutter or “my way or the highway” mindset. Stay true to who you are and stick with what works best for you.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • Finding the small things in life to be happy about
    • Meagen’s story
    • Staying true to who you are on and offline

    EP14: Sex, Health, and Business

A lot of people listening to this focus on surviving instead of thriving. Having that mindset will hold you back from success. Everyone wants to eat better food and safest car and comfiest clothes. The entire point of having extra income is to increase your quality of life. There’s nothing wrong with chasing more money because you don’t know how long you’re going to be here. If you are here to thrive, you will be willing to do what it takes every single day.

Being perfect is what you make of it, especially when it comes to being healthy. Good health is really how you describe it personally. Going out to have a drink isn’t going to kill you. In fact, letting go a little and having fun is a major factor of being mentally healthy because health is not just a physical aspect. Another factor of mental health is whatever your relationship status is. If you’re going to be in a serious relationship, you need to be with someone who is on-board with you chasing your dreams. They are either helping or hurting you whether that is their intent or not. Remember, you cannot truly love someone else until you truly love yourself.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • Being a result of your environment
    • Getting complacent when you’re the big fish in the small pond
    • The drawbacks of having a poor-money mindset
    • Surviving compared to thriving
    • There’s nothing wrong with wanting to increase your quality of life
    • Finding the balance between money value and memory value
    • Defining health from a physical and mental standpoint
    • Being perfect for yourself
    • Effects on business of being in a relationship
    • Having a toxic social circle
    • The importance of truly loving yourself
    • Benefits of selfish decisions
    • The answer almost always falls in the middle

EP13: How to Crush Business and Life if You’re Multi-Passionate with Emily Frisella

Being multi-passionate keeps you from feeling burnt out and helps you stay passionate about all of your different projects. Your days have much more diversity that you normally would if you stuck to one thing. The reason that people become burnt out on their careers is because they find themselves working for the benefit of the company. They don’t get to see the impact of their job or the value that they bring. Doing the same thing every day can become monotonous and cause you to lose your passion.

Organized chaos can be healthy for the mind and allow you to keep killing it in your multitude of passions as well as start new ones. As someone moves along through their multi-passion entrepreneurial journey, their title becomes longer and longer. This makes it increasingly more difficult to define yourself when asked the question, “who are you?” Don’t ever let that stop you from your title.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • The different aspects of being multi-passionate in business and life
    • How to stay passionate about all of your projects
    • Great tasting macro-friendly recipes
    • Organized chaos and what it means
    • Staying at peace with all the chaos going on

EP11: The power of trying new things

There is nothing wrong with trying different routes to achieve the big vision. What’s the worst thing that could happen when trying new things? Negative visualization is key because it prepares you for the worst, thus creating more confidence. You will feel pressure and judgement from society as well as family and friends but if you really work hard you can achieve what people say you can’t.

There is no longer a blueprint for how the timeline of life is supposed to look like; getting married by 27 or having kids and a house by 30 or being stuck in the same job for 50 years, these things aren’t set in stone anymore. If you want to switch career paths at 30 then know that you have that option if you are willing to work for it. Doing things that make you happy will make you more successful because those things are easier to do on a day to day basis. If you are unhappy with your life or job situation then try something new, because for all you know that new thing could be your passion.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • Keltie’s journey
    • The power of trying new things
    • Living a structured life vs. a spontaneous life
    • How to avoid Negative visualization
    • Outside pressure
    • Doing what makes you happy

EP10: Staying true to your morals in the sea of sales and criticism

As human beings we influence people on a daily basis, whether you have Instagram or not. You don’t have to wait until you have 10,000 followers on Instagram to have a positive influence on people. Everyone has influence in some capacity, but it is up to you to decide how it affects your decisions. Being an influencer is something we can all be but some people do it for the right reasons and some do it for the wrong reasons. Be aware that there is a difference between knowing how to coach someone and how to sell someone.

Preying on someone’s ego is how many companies push their products and services on people and that is what gives the term “influencer” a dark side. Instead of talking about how good their own service or product is, most people talk about what everyone else is doing wrong. If someone is confident in their service, then they should let that speak for itself. Remember, progress takes time with anything, so stay true to your morals don’t let the “overnight” sales and criticism that you see on social media stop your from reaching your goals.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • The term “influencer”
    • Causes of frustration on Instagram
    • Being genuine when marketing your product/service
    • How to stay out of a negative cloud
    • Good coaches vs. bad coaches
    • Patience of people hiring coaches
    • Progress takes time

EP09: Letting go of who we think we should be, to find out who we really are

Before you can achieve constant growth, you need to know who you really are. As human beings, we don’t like to change because it makes us uncomfortable, but there is both pain and pleasure on the path to knowing who you are. Letting yourself go in a new direction is just a way of becoming who you are truly meant to be. When we refuse to change, we limit our ability to grow.

Our potential is limitless, and when we stick to one thing we label ourselves as only that. Every different path in your life is part of your journey, and like all paths, there are many shifts and turns. We have been conditioned as a society that you are what you do, and that puts a cap on what we can do. Remember, nothing is permanent, so let your soul guide your mind and you will walk the path that you are meant to.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • Valentina’s story
    • The role of shifting paths when it comes to evolving
    • Reasons people cannot detach from something they are good at
    • Defining yourself
    • Signs that you are being called in a different direction
    • Self-reflection as a tool
    • Importance of connecting with others
    • The Law of Attraction
    • Beneficial daily practices

EP08: You're never too young to dominate: From orthorexia to self-love and success

You’re never too young to dominate. Age is just a number and you can’t let that number define how you feel or how you carry yourself. If you go on places like instagram, you can almost always find someone that is doing better than you or younger than you. It is like a highlight reel. Just because they are posting a nice photo album does not mean that they have a nice life.

When you go through an eating disorder recovery, you have to look inside and try to find out who you are because you have labeled yourself as something else for so long. Knowing who you are plays a major part in recovery as well as trying to build your personal brand. Once you know who you are, you can stop doing what you think you should do, and start doing things your way to go after your “why”. Authenticity is a major key to success. Follow your “why”.

In this episode, we talk about…

    • Kendall’s story
    • Everyday rituals to stay positive
    • Detrimental habits to recovery/dominating
    • The importance of knowing who you are
    • Starting point for successful business owners
    • Advantages of being authentic
